[TOLO] Mohammad Dawood Musa, senior adviser to the Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), was killed by unknown individuals in Kabul yesterday.
Mohammad Dawood Musa was wounded by a gunman near his home at 8:30 am on Monday and died after being taken to hospital.
Dawood's relatives claim that a gunman first took him out of his car and then shot him in the heart.
"A man shot him in the heart about a meter away and then got in the car and fled," said Zayed Siddiq, a friend of Mohammad Dawood Musa.
According to his friends, Mr. Musa was considered a prominent businessperson in the country since the time of Zahir Shah.
Meanwhile, the Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) said that Musa played a key role in drafting the Afghanistan-Pakistan Investment Law, tax law and transit agreements.
ACCI added that Mohammad Dawood Musa represented Mercedes-Benz in Afghanistan and played a key role in the growth of the country's private sector.
"I ask the Islamic Emirate to find the killer of Dawood Musa and bring him to justice," said Khanjan Alokozai, member of the board of the ACCI
"In the private sector, this is a huge loss. In the future, the Islamic Emirate must pay attention to protecting the lives and property of traders," said Naqibullah Safi, chairman of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce.
Although the Kabul Police Command confirmed Mr. Dawood's assassination, it declined to discuss the matter.
In the meantime, Zabulyar Gharanai, another businessman in the construction sector, was injured by kidnappers on Sunday. His relatives are asking the authorities to arrest the perpetrators of this incident.
"Zabulyar's family still has no information about this case, and this is the third day that my uncle is in the hospital and is unconscious," said Shaheryar Gharni, nephew of Zabulyar Gharanai.
The Chamber of Commerce and Investment says that the increase in killings and kidnappings of businessmen has raised serious concerns among the country's businessmen and that the Islamic Emirate should pay serious attention to this.

[Khaama] Sources have confirmed to Afghan media that armed clashes erupted between border guards of Iran and Afghanistan in the Keng district of Nimrouz province on Monday.
Those Afghans are just tetchy folk. Why, if they don’t kill a furriner fer lookin’ at ‘em sideways, they’ll shoot up a houseful of their own kinfolk because the bowl o’pebbles run out in the outhouse and they had to use leaves.
As per sources, four Iranian forces have been reported killed and their vehicle has been destroyed but the Iranian and Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has not commented on the killing yet.
Local residents of the Keng district said that the one-hour armed clashes erupted after Afghan people tried to dig a local channel called Sikhsar.
People say that Iranian border guards opened fire in a bid to stop people digging the channel.
The Iranian and Afghan forces have for a long time been at loggerhead over the channel.
Earlier, armed clashes were reported between the border guards of the two countries.
It’s not like the Egyptian army is needed at nome to protect the Motherland for an Israeli invasion, so they might as well send off a few units to earn some money for the government.
[AlAhram] Two members of the Egyptian peacekeeping forces in Mali were killed and four others were maimed on Monday in an IED explosion while carrying out a mission, the Egyptian Armed Forces announced on Tuesday.

Green on green is good — they leave fewer for the civilians to deal with.
No fewer than 30 terrorists have been killed in the North-East, during a fierce gun duel between fighters of Boko Haram and the Islamic State of West African Province, ISWAP, extremist sects, PRNigeria reports.
The incident took place at Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State.
The violent “fight”, which occurred last Saturday, between the slain Abubakar Shekau-led Boko Haram and their ISWAP rival, PRNigeria learnt, left many insurgents injured.
It was gathered that the ISWAP elements seized nine motorcycles from their rival fighters, in the aftermath of the bloody gun battle.
The latest confrontation was in reprisal to the killing of Abou Sadiquo Burubouru, who was ambushed and killed by Boko Haram around Gabara/Galta Hideouts, close to Mandara Mountains on February 26, 2022.
Recall that on February 9, 2022, a deadly fight ensued between ISWAP terrorists and the Bakura Buduma-led Boko Haram faction in Lake Chad, forcing Buduma to fled with serious injuries, after many of his fighters were killed.
ISWAP also declared one Mohammed Ari, a notorious “Spiritual Warfare Commander” of Boko Haram wanted, for spearheading most of the attacks against ISWAP.
Ari has led many attacks against ISWAP in Kaduna Ruwa, Tumbum Ali, Kirta, Sabon Tumbu, Kwatalo and Mardas General Area of Lake Chad basin.
Several infightings between the two factions of insurgents have led to the loss of several fighters on both sides, since the death of Abubakar Shekau.
This latest feud has triggered the migration of hundreds of Boko Haram terrorists with their families to safe heavens in neighbouring Cameroon, while a significant number of others were forced to surrender and lay down their arms to Military troops in Magumeri, Banki and Gwoza towns of Borno.
At least, eight military officers deployed to the Zuru district of Kebbi State have been killed by gunmen suspected to be bandits, multiple sources told SaharaReporters.
The soldiers were deployed to the area following the killing of 68 vigilantes otherwise known as Yan-Sa-Kai by gunmen fleeing from Niger State.
Local residents often form informal vigilante units to protect themselves from bandit raids.
A source from Sakaba Local Government Area of the state told SaharaReporters on Tuesday night that eight of the soldiers deployed to the emirate have been killed by gunmen.
"Initially we have our local security outfit that has been checkmating these monsters but last year the governor disarmed them by saying the security outfit was engaging in unlawful killings but he did not provide an alternative.
"Immediately after banning our local security outfit, bandits then moved in and have been killing mercilessly since then.
"Some hours ago, some soldiers were deployed but unfortunately, the bandits have just killed eight of the soldiers. So sad, we are no longer safe."
Speaking on the killing of the vigilantes, another source told SaharaReporters that the deceased persons were ambushed after being fed wrong information regarding the location of the bandits.
The source said, "Yesterday, after killing many people and rustling cows, the youths from Dabai, Magajiya, Ribah, Diri and Danrnagi villages confronted the bandits with their locally made guns.
"They killed many of the Bandits; along the line, someone called them and gave them wrong information about the location of the bandits, so that was how they fell into the ambush of the bandits.
"The location is Sakaba Local Government Area, Zuru Emirate, Kebbi state. It's a border town between Kebbi South and Niger. The town has produced many Generals.
"Right now, they are still operating in Zuru villages. The soldiers and the police are more afraid than the civilians."
Earlier on Tuesday, President Muhammadu Buhari condemned the incident.
The President expressed sadness over what he described as “the brutal murder of tens of vigilantes”. Buhari in a statement by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, also expressed his condolences to the family members of the deceased.
"This egregious level of criminality is shocking and I want to assure Nigerians that I will do all it takes to tackle this monster decisively," the President was quoted as saying.
"My greatest preoccupation is the threat to life posed by these murderous gangs and remorseless outlaws who have no slightest regard for the sanctity of life.
"While extending my sympathy to the families of the victims of this savagery, let me use this opportunity to also call on our security forces to be more proactive and redouble their efforts in order to frustrate the operational plans of the terrorists before they even launch attacks."

[IsraelTimes] Military says button men fired on troops during overnight operation in Silat al-Harithiya, the home village of the alleged faceless myrmidons in deadly December shooting
Israeli forces exchanged fire with Paleostinian button men overnight in the northern West Bank while demolishing the homes of two suspected terrorists, the military said Tuesday morning.
Muhammad Youssef Jaradat and Ghaith Ahmed Yassin Jaradat, both from the village of Silat al-Harithiya, are accused of being part of a Paleostinian Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... cell that shot and killed Yehuda Dimentman near the Homesh outpost in December. Two other Israelis were lightly maimed in the shooting.
The Israel Defense Forces said the military razed the former’s house and destroyed a floor of the home in which the latter lived.
According to the military, dozens of Paleostinians rioted during the demolitions and threw rocks, Molotov cocktails and improvised bombs at the soldiers, who responded with riot dispersal means and live fire.
The IDF said armed Paleostinians also fired upon troops. The soldiers "responded with fire and successfully completed their mission," a statement from the military said.
Some Paleostinian media reports claimed one person had been shot, but there was no official confirmation from authorities.
Earlier, two Border Police officers were lightly hurt in a suspected car-ramming attack amid the festivities.
The IDF demolished the home of a third suspect last month, during which Paleostinians said a teenager was killed in a firefight with Israeli troops, and has informed the family of a fourth suspect that his apartment will be destroyed. The two other two suspects, Mahmoud Ghaleb Jaradat and Omar Ahmed Yassin Jaradat, are also from Silat al-Harithiya.
Israel demolishes the homes of Paleostinians accused of carrying out deadly terror attacks as a matter of policy. The efficacy of the policy is controversial even within the Israeli security services and human rights ...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty... activists have denounced it as unfair collective punishment.
Tuesday’s demolitions came after Israel’s High Court of Justice denied several appeals from both families.
Numerous suspects have been charged over the December shooting attack in which Dimentman was killed and two others lightly maimed. The three were fired on as they left a yeshiva at Homesh outpost where they studied. Homesh was evacuated in 2005 following Israel’s withdrawal from Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... and some West Bank settlements.
While Israeli law bans resettling at Homesh, the army has tolerated the presence of the yeshiva for over a decade and a half. The area has also been the site of repeated festivities between the outpost’s hard-right Jewish settlers and local Paleostinians.
