[CNN] Jeb Bush just wrapped a speech dropping out the race. The moment he delivered the news, his supporters gathered at the results party -- which didn't have any TVs -- let out an audible gasp, followed by awkward silence. After Bush said, "yeah," they applauded.
"The people of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina have spoken, and I truly respect their decision. And so tonight I am suspending my campaign," he said.
Bush said he has run a campaign as he pledged: "Going everywhere, speaking to everyone, keeping my word, facing the issues without flinching and staying true to what I believe."
But he also took plenty of shots at GOP front-runner Donald Trump, with whom he has clashed in increasingly personal ways.
"The presidency is bigger than any one person, it is certainly bigger than any candidate," Bush said. "I firmly believe the American people must entrust this office to someone who understands that whoever holds it is the servant and not the master."
The melancholy Bush said he has the "best landing" possible. "Tonight I'm going to sleep with the best friend I have and the love of my life," he said, embracing his wife, Columba.

BTW, probably a real decent fellow. That's the problem. Romney was a decent fellow too. It's well beyond that in the struggle for power. The other side understands its all about power. Too much really at stake. Need people who can go for the political jugular and will do it. Bring nice got you O for eight years.

...Like and respect Governor Bush, but I'll be damned if I was going to cast a vote for a dynasty.
And now we still need to face the fact that of seven Presidential elections since 1992, six of them have involved the Bushes and the Clintons (or their surrogates).

Mt hope is that the majority of Bush supporters shift to Marco, who then commands firmly in Second, and we hope for the nation to actually examine Trump beyond the superb mastery of the Lamestream Media and its soundbite news cycle.
You can count on the media now - what was laughed at as impossible a few months ago is now a terrifying possibility. The MSM will go down kamikaze style if need be to stop Trump and save Hillary.

Maybe if he hadn't insisted on " his intentional refusal to put a stop to illegally-present persons from getting Florida Driver licenses, without which 9/11 might not have happened at all" he would have been slightly more popular to those who take seriously the concept of defending their country.

It is really so simple. Calling Trump names. Calling his supporters low information people. Ignores the obvious. He has the following of Americans. He could have been Democrat. He could have been and may yet be an independent, and still carry the day. This is not about parties. This is about Americans and their Republic. Loyalty to parties is the fools choice. They don't represent us, they answer to the special interests, the money people who manage them. This could be repeated in England and Europe. Look at Greece or Spain. Have they improved?. Even Japan. Time to move away from Liberalism. Time to move ahead and break these chains that so confine and retard growth. Time to seize the day.
"I think there are reasons to be optimistic: 1) Conservative candidates took 67.5% of the vote [in SC]. 2) At some point, conservative Republicans will coalesce behind Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz. Either, at that point, should be able to defeat the RINO Trump rather easily."

Rubio hasn't a chance(a true rino). Cruz is hated by too many people(a loner not a builder). Obama's support was women, blacks and the left. Not inclusive as is Trumps support. Many voters stayed home as they had no real choice. I have had the pleasure to have met people like Trump. They get things done. He wants to make America great again. No hope and change lies. He is feared by those in power here and abroad. He wrecks their controlled game plans for our future. Call him whatever name or his supporters you wish. He is the billionaire. He deals with many countries now. Even New York being such a hostile environment for anyone to succeed. This is a major game changer moment in history. Hop on board or be left behind. People are always fearful of the future. I'd be willing to bet you that many youth of today have no idea who H. G. Wells or Jules Vern were. Which shall it be?. The world and space exploration or one welfare check after another.

Personally I'm tired of hearing that the billionaire that actually has built things is a moron, while career pols are oh so smart and have the working man's interests at heart.
Some voters want to make America great again. Jeb was all about the donors and the illegals.

Jeb's campaign should've hired me when they had the chance.
