Angelia Williams represents the area on the Norfolk City Council. She blames the mall landlord for the violence: The owners dont know the area and are just in it for the dollars and cents.
Yeah, that's it, Angie. Pretty soon they'll take their dollars and cents somewhere safer, and your people will be left with nothing.

Read the comments - seems this is a nightly occurrence where gangs of feral young blacks roam the mall after 6PM.

We have a zombie mall. At first, people went to the mall to shop and enjoy themselves. Now, few people go there and mall occupancy is down. There is a threat of crime and violence.
#5
Strangely enough malls caught on originally because of crime. Provided a centralized controlled environment away from the crime in the streets of the times. Now that crime is down in the streets (as businesses have moved among those with the cash and prisons bulging with the traditional perps), the new feral element are using the malls as places where targets congregate.

DaQuan and Towanna his Aunt. Lovely. And when the mall completely closes because white and black middle class shopper refuse to be prey, the Black Leaders and Community Organizers will claim racism

I saw this happen 15 years ago, when the Leaders and Organizers complained the nasty mall security people were picking on the innocent yoots. The mall is still vacant and abandoned.
More proof of racism!

Send in the clowns please!
As the Greatest Show on Earth returns to Brooklyn Thursday, circus folk fear a national clown shortage is on the horizon. There is no shortage of clowns in politics.
Membership at the countrys largest trade organizations for the jokesters has plunged over the past decade as declining interest, old age and higher standards among employers align against Krusty, Bozo and their crimson-nosed colleagues.
Whats happening is attrition, said Clowns of America International President Glen Kohlberger, who added that membership at the Florida-based organization has plummeted since 2006. The older clowns are passing away. If a canibal ate a clown would it taste funny?
He said he wouldnt release specific numbers, citing the privacy of the members. If I dressed up in big shoes, a funny costume, ans a big nose I'd want to remain annonymous, too.
Membership at the World Clown Association, the countrys largest trade group for clowns, has dropped from about 3,500 to 2,500 since 2004. They all went into politics.
The challenge is getting younger people involved in clowning, said Association President Deanna (Dee Dee) Hartmier, who said most of her members are over 40. Most youg people these days are already clowns.
Kohlberger said that its difficult getting younger people who develop an early interest in the many facets of clowning to stick with it on the professional level.
What happens is they go on to high school and college and clowning isnt cool anymore, he said. Clowning is then put on the back burner until their late 40s and early 50s. When they regress to a younger stage.
Cyrus Zavieh, the president of New York Clown Alley, a group that boasts 45 members across the New York area, said clowns can pull in up to $300 for a birthday party but thats hardly a financial incentive for many young people. It's also a dangerous job. Would you want to entertain a bunch of crumb crunchers at a party?
American kids these days are thinking about different careers altogether, said Zavieh, 44, who has worked under the moniker Cido for nearly two decades.
Theyre thinking about everything other than clowning. Sex, lies, and videotape.

He added: To take money from some people so that politicians can be puffed up and can be shown around the world is, I think, something that is very distasteful at a time when there is so much poverty and so much need.

[UPI] DULLES, Va., Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Authorities said they found a man's body Saturday in the wheel well of a South African Airways jetliner at Dulles International Airport in suburban Washington.
The Airbus A340 had been parked in a remote parking lot at the airport after landing Wednesday after a flight from Johannesburg. The plane, which had been Flight SA 207, had made one stop in Dakar, Senegal.
Authorities had yet to identify the man, whose body was found by a ground crew about 1:30 p.m. EST, WRC-TV, Washington, reported.
South African Airways representative Tlali Tlali said the airline regrets "any loss of human life and are deeply concerned about the suspicious circumstances surrounding this incident." The body was turned over to the Fairfax County Medical Examiner. Could have climbed in on a fuel stop in Dakar or Accra, Ghana. Bet he could have used a stiff drink about 12 hours into that one, the poor bugger.

Nobody told him to take warm clothes. At flight level 380 (38k feet) it's quite nippy out. Just ask any mountain top.

There is air in the tire if only he brought an extra valve stem. But the bigger security concern is that it could of been a bomb instead of a knucklehead.
Cold air and no oxygen. Annnnnd, if you survive the flight, you could be mangled or drop out when the gear door opens and the gear extends.

I suspect Hypoxia first (TUC apx 3-6 mins during climb to FL 400) best case = 6 min.
Assuming a constant climb rate of 2,000 ft/min, an altitude of apx 12,000 ft AGL would be attained in 6 minutes, max TUC.
Standard Temp at 12,000 ft is 16.2 degrees F - damn uncomfortably cold, and the ride there would not be fun, but not instantaneously fatal. Doesn't get below 0-F until somewhere around 16,000-17,000 ft.
Assuming no damage at gear retraction (See Alaska Paul), the "stowcicle" should have fallen into the arms of Morpheus before freezing to death.

He last messaged his girlfriend from the Michoacan state where vigilantes are battling the Knights Templar cartel.
He messaged on 25 January: 'Just got an hour and a half long escort out of some area it was too dangerous for me to be. Stopping for lunch and ... voila Internet. ... Gonna get back on the road soon.

The State Department can be amazingly unhelpful in such missing person's cases, even when the subject did not go out of his way to put himself at risk. I've a friend who has been waiting over five years for either some sort of follow-up or a death certificate for his brother, who was down south somewhere on a charity project when he disappeared. Without a death certificate the wife can neither get an insurance payout nor sign up for Social Security's widows'n'orphans help for their children, nor move on with her life should she so desire.
The locals don't want to admit there's a crime issue, and the State staffers don't want to be inconvenienced by what it pleases them to think of as "stupid civilians who shouldn't have been allowed to leave home".
[An Nahar] Two Catholic priests were stabbed to death and a third maimed by assailants who broke into a school residence in Venezuela during an apparent robbery, the school said Sunday.
A school front man said the assailants climbed a wall to enter the Don Bosco school in the central city of Valencia late Saturday, and entered an area where the priests' rooms were located.
"They killed them with knives taken from the school kitchen," said Nelson Pena, a seminarian and front man for the school.
Interior and Justice Minister Miguel Rodriguez told news hounds the murders occurred "under very strange circumstances."
"It would appear that two minors were involved. There was no forced entry and that school is difficult to get into," he said.
Pena identified the dead priests as Jesus Plaza, a 79-year-old Colombian and Luis Sanchez, an 84-year-old Venezuelan.
The school's director David Martin who was maimed, underwent surgery, while another school administrator was lightly injured, he said.
The crime comes amid rising violence in Venezuela, which has one of the world's highest murder rates.

Needs to be framed incrementally to achieve any measure of success. It requires an over-arching political theme such as..... 'Income Inequality' or 'War on Poverty' for example. Bits added over time so as to nearly go unnoticed and not cause egregious paid to the poor bastids picking up the tab.
It eventually becomes a sort of 'Bring and Buy' or church bazaar menu of benefits [except the recipients never actually Bring or Buy anything]. It's all free or nearly so; council housing, food cards, education, fones, electricity credits, mortgages, national health care, endless unemployment insurance, Earned Income Tax Credits, and employment preference....for the one or two who wish to work.

Don't let's forget that the Mamluks were for centuries kidnapped slavic boys. Egypt owes a major debt to eastern Europe for their current existence as a Muslim nation.
[DAWN] Though the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) and the administration of the Taleemul Koran seminary and mosque are at loggerheads over the ownership of the land, the Punjab government is all set to start reconstruction of the building at a cost of Rs340 million on Monday.
The building housing the seminary, mosque and 134 shops at Raja Bazaar was burnt during the sectarian clash on Ashura last year.
The provincial government announced to reconstruct the building at a cost of Rs340 million besides compensating the traders whose goods were burnt during the sectarian clash.
Punjab Minister for Labour Raja Ashfaq Sarwar will lay the foundation of the building.
The Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) has been assigned the work to reconstruct the complex within six months.
According to the plan, the complex will be constructed on nine kanals.
As many as 130 shops will be built on the ground flour while the mosque will be constructed on the second and the seminary on the third floor.
However, some men learn by reading. A few learn by observation. The rest have to pee on the electric fence for themselves... the local administration is still undecided about the inclusion of adjacent two residential houses and two shops owned by the ETPB in the complex.
The madressah administration managed to buy one private shop worth Rs15 million to expand the front of the mosque.
It also got two shops of the EPTB on lease for the construction of the backdoor way on Hamilton Road.
They are also trying to get the two houses measuring nine marlas each but the leasees, Mohammad Shabir and Janaat Bibi, are not willing to hand them over.
"We asked the local administration to construct and restore the house to its earlier condition," Shabir told Dawn.
He said the seminary administration wanted to get the property for the expansion of the mosque. The minister for labour told Dawn that the provincial government had released Rs340 million for the reconstruction of the mosque, seminary and the shops.
"The construction work will be completed within six months. The compensation money will be paid to the traders after the completion of the work on the complex," he said.
However, some men learn by reading. A few learn by observation. The rest have to pee on the electric fence for themselves... he said details of the dispute were not in his knowledge.
"If there is any issue between the ETPB and the seminary administration, the concerned department should take it up with the authorities," he said.
ETPB Rawalpindi administrator Wahab Gul could not be contacted for comments.
However, some men learn by reading. A few learn by observation. The rest have to pee on the electric fence for themselves... a bigwig of the ETPB said the land dispute with the seminary was pending with the federal secretary minorities, adding the land was illegally given to the seminary in 1985.
"The ETPB Rawalpindi sent a report to its chairman but the matter has not been taken up yet," he said.
Sharjeel Mir, the representative of Madina Market traders, they had been suffering financial losses for the last two months. The traders demanded the reconstruction of their shops.
He said the issue between the ETPB and the seminary would be resolved later but the government should construct the building so that the traders started their business.
When contacted, District Coordination Officer (DCO) Sajid Zafar Dall said the original cost of the complex was Rs300 million but it increased to Rs340 million because the construction company would have to erect the foundation after digging the earth by 20 feet," he said.
He said the traders demanded the provincial government to start the work as soon as possible.
In reply to a question, the DCO said the government had made all the arrangements to save the Hindu temple at the site. "The construction work will not affect the temple," he added.

[DAWN] "Can you accept your daughters forcibly being married to Hindu men?" said Rinkle Kumari's uncle Raj Kumar at a seminar titled 'Hindus in Pakistain -- issues and solutions' held at the Bloody Karachi ...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... Press Club here on Sunday.
Calling a little six-year-old girl, Jumna, onto the stage, he said that she along with her 10-year-old sister, Pooja, was also being forced to change religion if the media had not raised their case. "What do children as young as Jumna and Pooja know about Islam and their own religion for that matter that they'd want to convert? This is the height of injustice," he said.
Jumna's parents, mother Marju and father Soma, were also present. Soma said that they were residents of Akhtar Colony in Mirpurkhas. "We are poor people. My little girls helped supplement our income by selling clay toys and utensils door to door. On Feb 4 they left home as usual with their basket of toys but didn't return. We raised alarm.
"After several reports in the media about our missing girls it was found that they had been staying with a man named Rajab Pathan. The police of our area later produced them in court as Moslem children. "We were prevented by the police from seeing them, too.
"Then the court sent them to a Darul Aman over suspicions they may have been subjected to child abuse at home. Little Jumna has been given back to us now but Pooja is still at the Darul Aman. She seems to have been brainwashed into saying strange things about us. Her mind seems affected by the trauma," the girls' father, Soma, wept.
Mr Kishan Chand Parwani, chairman of the All Hindu Rights Organisation, the organisers of the seminar, said that it was sad to see the problems of minorities in Pakistain multiplying instead of decreasing.
"I have served as an MNA in this country five times now and know that the rights of Hindus have never remained a priority here. We came up with the Marriage Act for Hindus but it was never passed by the assembly as the government finished its term. So underage Hindu girls are being forcibly converted to Islam and married to Moslem men.
"Minorities are protected by law everywhere in the world but the Hindu community in Pakistain is facing harassment at every level," he said.
To prove this point several affectees from Sindh came to narrate their ordeal.
All present on the occasion agreed that people representing them in the assemblies were actually their parties' yes men.
Politician Dr Riaz Chandio said that they would have had no problems with their daughters converting to Islam if they did so of their own free will. "But we know that this is not so. Rinkle Kumari's case is before us," he said.
Former minister Jai Prakash from Quetta said that he had found his party and government supportive to his community. "For instance, an old Hindu temple was falling within the area marked out for the Hingol Dam in Balochistan ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... but the map was changed to avoid destroying it after I raised the issue with government," he said.
Karamat Ali of the Pakistain Institute of Labour Education and Research said that minorities should make themselves as visible as possible in order for the country to think about them, too. "When you need to go to court to change your name then how can you be changing your religion without any legal proceedings?"
Writer and poet Fahmida Riaz said that she only wanted to thank the Hindu community to finally come on a platform to raise their voice for their rights. "Looting and plundering is going on everywhere but when it happens to members of the Hindu community it is done especially knowing that you won't fight back. So get up and fight for your rights," she said.
Former senator Safdar Abbasi said that it was a sad reality that not just Hindu temples but also mosques, Imambargah ...since Pakistain is very religiously correct™, Shia Moslems can't call their houses of worship 'mosques,' which are reserved for Sunnis. It's not clear if imambargahs are used for explosives storage like mosques are... s and churches were not safe in Pakistain these days.
Iqbal Butt of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistain was of the opinion that one had to raise an issue to be able to solve it.

[DAWN] QUETTA: A man and a woman were stoned to death in a village in Loralai district on Sunday after a holy man issued a fatwa against them, sources said.
A Levies Force official, Abdul Latif Jogezai, said the incident took place in Manzkai village early in the morning. "The people of the village stoned to death the man and the woman who were not married to each other. Rather, they were married to other people," he said. He said the two were killed on suspicion of having illicit relations. No funeral prayers were offered for them.
The slain man, Daraz Khan, was buried in Katoti area and the woman in her village.
After hearing about the incident, personnel of the Levies Force reached Manzkai village and jugged Drop the heater, Studs, or you're hist'try! the holy man who had issued the fatwa and six of the men who stoned the couple to death, Mr Jogezai said.
He said a case had been registered against the people of the village. Most of the residents fled from the village to avoid arrest, he added.

[Ynet] Dr. Adam Ferziger, an expert in the study of modern Jewish denominations, says that due to assimilation, in the future the absolute majority of American Jewry will not be defined as Jews according to Halacha.
The person responsible for this statement was not surprised by Chelsea Clinton's marriage to the Jewish Marc Mezvinsky, or by the blooming relationship between Yair Netanyahu and the Norwegian Sandra Leikanger. Dr. Adam Ferziger -- an expert in the study of modern Jewish denominations, and a senior lecturer at Bar-Ilan University's Department of Jewish History -- led an international research group which convened in Oxford in early 2013 to study Jewish theology in the 20tyh century. Demographic shifts and 'assimilation' are not simply a reality [or cultural threat] in America.
"Milan Kunders once defined a small nation as "one whose very existence may be put in question at any moment; a small nation can disappear, and it knows it."

When you worship Socialist Progressivism as your god, you're usually violating about three of the ten commandments. Sort of disqualifies one as part of the traditional Judeo-Christian sects in the first place.

The growth of the American Jewish population is among the more observant, just as in the American Christian population, ie they are the ones attracting more followers from the older, more liberal congregations, and they are the ones having more than replacement numbers of children. In the meantime, even the Reform (ultra-liberal) branch of American Judaism has become shockingly more traditional in teaching and practice than it was when we joined our current congregation in 1997. I like it, but many of the old folks are quite disturbed.
And yes, what g(r)omgoru said. Judaism has consistently lost between 25% and 50% of its children to assimilation/conversion since the Roman empire went Christian... and yet we are still here.
