Is there a single responsible, adult, serious Democrat that might run?
Being from Massaholia I know Fauxcohontas and do not consider her any of those things.
Where are the Hubert Humphreys or Jimmuh Carters or McGoverns even? Never voted for any of them but I could have (I have amnesia about '76) as they were all serious.
Are there any Democrat candidates worthy of the name?
[WASHINGTONTIMES] The bill received preliminary approval Friday from the state Senate, where Republicans hold an 18-17 edge. The stumbling block lies with House Democrats, who hold a 34-31 majority and have shown no enthusiasm for the measure.
Why? Last year, Democrats said they were worried about limiting access for welfare recipients, many of whom don't have bank accounts and may find it difficult to locate nearby ATMs in their neighborhoods. Democrats were also dubious about whether EBT cardholders were really blowing public dollars on pot.
Those arguments were raised once again at last week's Senate State, Veterans and Military Affairs Committee hearing, where the bill passed 3-2 on a party-line vote.
"My county still expresses concerns about this bill, and they don't know how big a problem it is as far as people using this money for the activities listed here, so I'm going to be a no," said Democratic state Sen. Matt Jones.
Liberals in Colorado and elsewhere have mocked concerns about welfare recipients getting high on the taxpayers' dime, exemplified by a headline in September from Media Matters, which said, "Right-Wing Media's Mythological 'Welfare for Weed' Campaign Has Resulted in Actual GOP Legislation."
But investigations by other media outlets have shown that the problem is more than a myth. On Thursday, Fox31 Denver reported that at least 17 lbs. of marijuana were likely purchased with public dollars in 2014, based on an examination of all ATM transactions using the EBT card in state marijuana dispensaries.

The so-called 'tipping point' has obviously been reached. Reversing this trend will be very, very difficult if not impossible. The 50+ percent entitlement crowd will not likely go quietly into the night. As predicted repeatedly over the years by Fred's astute readership, this could get very ugly.

Technically pot shops cannot accept EBT cards for payment for pot now. If I understand the rules what the proposed law is intended to do is make the welfare pot buyers convert their EBT to cash somewhere else rather than at a machine right in the pot store, and then use that cash to buy their weed. Which implies EBT cards can be used somewhere to get cash - which can of course then be used to buy anything, anywhere,

Welfare weed is the most pressing issue for Democrats? Little wonder that currently we have problems in this country. The Donks took to heart that old Dylan song: Everyone must get stoned.""
[WEEKLYSTANDARD] John F. I was in Vietnam, you know Kerry Former Senator-for-Life from Massachussetts, self-defined war hero, speaker of French, owner of a lucky hat, conqueror of Cambodia, and current Secretary of State... told NBC's Chuck Todd this morning that he won't say "never" to running for president again. But, Kerry said, he's been "pretty busy."
Todd asked, "Is there any scenario that you would run for president in 2016?"
"I have no scenario whatsoever in my mind. I haven't thought about it. As you can tell, I'm pretty busy," Kerry said causing Todd to laugh.
"I know. Is it a never say never?
"Well, nobody says never. But I'm not -- never -- I have no concept of it," said Kerry.

why not? After all, he has as many SOS foreign policy successes as Hillary, same successful domestic initiatives as Hillary, Biden, and Fauxcahontas, and is as big a serial fabulist as all the other three.

One of the issues some people raise about Hilary is her age - she'll be 69 in 2016. If Biden and Kerry run, she'll look like a kid next to them. Of course, fauxcahontas Wil be standing in the wings at only age 67.

Actually, our State Department blunderings should NOT be attributed to either the odious and despicable Kerry or the equally obnoxious Hildebeast, they are but figureheads, convenient tools of diversion and powerless notional entities belonging to the old order.
The Champ needs no 'secretaries' State, Defense, or the even The Congress in the new order. His lack of response to the recent mid-term election and results should be an indicator of his disregard for the established process.
The indolent Champ has his shadow government advisors and mentors, ValJar Rice, Brennan, Sharpton, and the like. That is all he has need of. Could the picture be any clearer ?

In other news:
Congress has begun investigating Loretta Lynch, Champ's pick for Attorney General (AG) and immediately they could see an interesting and unnerving connection.
It appears that when Loretta Lynch started at Harvard, she co-founded an African-American only sorority and there was only one other
girl in this sorority, Sharon Malone.
The name rings a bell!?!
The name of the wife of the current, corrupt AG, Eric Holder, is Sharon Malone; and she is the sister of a known civil rights activist leader Vivien Malone-Jones (one of 2 black students who enrolled in the all-white University of Alabama).
Someone checked the ages; both were born in 1959 and both went to Harvard at the same time. There were very few African-American students in Harvard in 1977-1981, so it is rather certain that Loretta Lynch is an old college friend of Sharon Malone, the wife of the current AG, Eric Holder!
Why is this connection important? Holder will inevitably be investigated by Congress for totally lawless gun-trafficking to Mexican drug cartels in Fast and Furious, the IRS scandal, the VA scandal, the DOJ, NSA, EPA, FEC and other scandals. Most importantly, AG Holder covered up Obama's use of a stolen Connecticut Social Security number (Harrison J. Bounel 042-68-4425) and Chanp's use of several different bogus IDs.
It seems that a long time college friend of Holder's wife was picked up as a gate-keeper by Obama to continue all of the cover up actions by Holder and, of vital importance, to shield Holder and Obama from criminal prosecution.
Loretta Lynch is amazingly Obama's pick for Attorney General!
Isn't it amazing how all the pieces to the Obama Puzzle are out there and as we are now seeing after this length of time they are coming together.

Does Kenya have an extradition treaty with the United States?
But seriously, folks, there must be something to a potential presidential candidate who is confident enough in his own masculinity to be photographed riding a girl's bicycle. I must say Kerry looks more masculine on a girl's bicycle than Champ did in his famous bicycle picture.

James Webb will be 70 by the time the official election season kicks off. Andrew Cuomo will be 59, but the DOJ seems to be shutting off that opportunity.
