[IsraelTimes] Police arrest assailant on suspicion of ’racially aggravated affray’ after he is tackled by shoppers and Jewish watch group volunteers in Golders Green supermarket.
Workers and shoppers at a family-owned kosher supermarket in one of London’s most Jewish neighborhoods fended off a knife-wielding attacker who was demanding to know whether its owners supported "Israel or Paleostine" on Monday.
Police arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of "racially-aggravated affray" after the man allegedly returned to the supermarket following a first confrontation with staff there.
The attack at Kay’s Local in the northwest London neighborhood of Golders Green took place on Monday afternoon. There were no injuries reported, despite a physical struggle outside the store.
"This guy came into the shop and started asking one of the cashiers: ’Who do you support, is it Israel or Paleostine,’" an employee called Moishe told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. The 18-year-old declined to give his last name, citing security concerns.
"The cashier said: ’We’re neutral, you can support who you want, I can support who I want,’" he added. "Eventually, he left the shop, but came back a minute later."
The 34-year-old man, who was bearded and hooded, was ushered outside of the Hamilton Road store "where he started speaking about it again," Moishe recounted.
The attacker then grabbed the neck of 18-year-old Yosef Chaim, who then tried to tackle the man. "I learned Krav Maga at school and other martial arts," Yosef told the Jewish Chronicle.
Moishe said the assailant was clutching a blue knife behind his back. "He tried stabbing him, attacking him. [Yosef] took a trolley and pushed him over, and then he went into the shop again to try and protect himself."
Those in the shop grabbed items including a broomstick and a children’s scooter as they tried to fight off the attacker. Yosef’s father, shopkeeper Eyvatar Reitman, 48, told the Jewish Chronicle, "I could see the hate in his eyes. He looked like he came in looking for a fight."
The attacker was tackled by volunteers from Shomrim,
...a Hebrew word meaning guards ...
a volunteer Jewish neighborhood watch group in London, and officers from the Metropolitan Police. Videos posted on social media showed him struggling with officers.
The incident comes as local Jews are on edge amid a spike in antisemitic incidents and sustained displays of anti-Israel sentiment in London since Hamas ...one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede,... ’s October 7 onslaught on Israel. Data from the Community Security Trust, a Jewish security group, indicated that antisemitic incidents in the United Kingdom rose to record levels since Oct. 7, with 2,093 incidents reported in the 68 days after the attack.
In one notable incident last week that police are investigating as a hate crime, three Jews in London said they had been attacked by a large group because they were speaking Hebrew.
Nobody was injured in the fighting with the supermarket attacker, who crossed the road after being fought off. "He then went into his house and changed his clothes," Moishe said. "He left his weapon in there."
Kay’s Local is going to "try and get security," Moishe said, adding, "London’s not safe."
The Metropolitan Police said in a statement that officers were called to respond "to reports of a man with a knife in Hamilton Road" at 1:27 p.m. Just over 10 minutes later, it said, it took a man into custody. "A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, criminal damage and racially-aggravated affray," the police said.
The statement added that the incident was not being treated as "terror-related."
Inspector Scott Barden-Marshall added: "I know this incident will cause concern in the community. Officers responded quickly and made an arrest within 10 minutes. An investigation is now under way to establish the circumstances."
The Community Security Trust urged "the community to remain vigilant and alert."

[Hot Air] The IDF plan to flood the Hamas tunnels under Gaza has been on and then off and now on again. The first reports that this was happening came out last December. At the time there were some videos and indications that this had begun but some outlets reported they were tests. After that I didn’t hear any additional reports for more than a month.
Two weeks ago, the NY Times reported that the Gaza tunnel system had turned out to be even more extensive than previously believed. Instead of 250-300 miles of tunnels, the latest estimate put the total at somewhere between 350 and 450 miles. Remember, this is a narrow strip of land that is only 25 miles long. And almost in passing at the end of that story, the Times added that "attempts to demolish the tunnels by flooding them with seawater have failed." That seemed to be the end of it.
Today that are multiple reports that the IDF is still flooding the tunnels but only in specific cases.

there are no civilians in gaza. they chose hamas.
consider allowing palestinians to reside and work in israel IFF they renounce sharia law.
IFF = if and only if
Questions have been asked around these parts, and now we know.
[Jpost] Israeli officials have been leaking details to foreign media about what they called "Atlantis" for months.
The IDF on Tuesday finally allowed the Israeli media to publish more comprehensive details about its anti-tunnel flooding project against Hamas in Gaza.
Israeli officials have been leaking details to foreign media about what they called "Atlantis" for months, but the censor has actively prevented The Jerusalem Post and others from disclosing these details.
The IDF said that the flooding tool is one of many for fighting Hamas's tunnels, including also explosives, robots, air strikes, and sending in soldiers.
While the system has made real contributions to combatting Hamas's tunnels in some areas, there are many limits, and it is not seen as a solution to the whole tunnel problem by "snapping one's fingers" type solution. It is well known that Hamas's tunnels move in many different directions and use blast doors and other items, which could thwart or reduce the effectiveness of the flooding system.
FLOODING SYSTEM MOST EFFECTIVE CLOSER TO COAST
The flooding system is most effective near the Mediterranean Sea and cannot be used in areas where the IDF has concerns that it could harm the Gaza land in the long term.
Special IDF analysts study different kinds of topography also to see where it is likely to be most valuable in destroying tunnels.
In addition, the IDF said that it took time to deploy the system since a whole specialized array of units had to be trained to deploy it.
A statement said that the system is " a breakthrough" for fighting Hamas's tunnels and exemplified positive cooperation between the Defense Ministry, the IDF, and other defense bodies.
The IDF declined to provide any data about how many tunnels have been destroyed by the system.
The military began experimenting with flooding tunnels only after the war began, according to three military officials with knowledge of the effort, which was code-named Atlantis. The purpose was never to drown Hamas fighters taking refuge in the subterranean network, but rather to flush them out, the officials said.
On the whole, however, the project has had limited success, the officials added. Despite large volumes of water being pumped, many of the tunnels are porous, resulting in seepage into the surrounding soil rather than a deluge through the passageways.
Even if you optimistically assume 30% of the tunnel system has been rendered inoperative that could still mean another 6 months or more of fighting before most of it is out of commission. That’s a very long time give all of the other problems that are building up around this invasion. Just to take one example, do we want to be sparring with the Houthis and the Iranians for another 6 months?
For now, Israel says it plans to continue fighting and working to dig up tunnels, but as you can see in this CNN report from yesterday, the media seems very eager to find fault with every move they make while Hamas fighters just continue to lay low underground with their Israeli hostages.

Israel points out that these numbers — completely uncheckable, so they may or may not be real — include the 10,000 jihadis they killed, those killed/wounded accidentally by Hamas rockets, RPGS, and bullets that missed their targets, hitting Gazans instead, and of course human shields.

"The dirty politics of humanitarian aid", The Jerusalem Post|April 18 2002| G. M. Steinberg
HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF: "Amid the intense propaganda war, there is unusual agreement on the developing humanitarian tragedy. No one disputes the fact that many, and perhaps most of the houses in the Jenin refugee camp were destroyed in the fighting, whether by terrorist bombs that were exploded in efforts to kill Israeli soldiers, or by tanks and troops.
The residents who did not flee are without regular supplies of food, water and medicines. The same is true, although to a lesser degree, in other areas of intense fighting, such as Nablus, parts of Ramallah and Bethlehem. ... Without delving into the considerable evidence that many of the adults in these camps were part of the Palestinian terrorist support network, the delivery of humanitarian aid for the others, including children, is part of the Jewish tradition.
The real humanitarian tragedy is that the number of individuals and agencies qualified to deliver this aid, without engaging in destructive propaganda is very small. Many of the non-governmental orgs and aid agencies, including the International Committee of the Red Cross, are tainted by their support of anti-Israel political agendas. Self-declared "peace protestors" are more interested in the publicity and propaganda than in actually helping people. By adopting a policy of confrontation with Israel (and bringing compliant journalists), propagandists know that any packages will be carefully searched for bombs, while they publicize allegations of Israeli interference with transfer of food and medicine.
UN agencies, in general, and the UN Relief and Works Agency [UNRWA], in particular, provide poignant examples of this catastrophic situation. In 52 years of its "temporary" existence, UNRWA has become part of the problem, rather than providing a solution. In addition to the humanitarian aid, including food, health, education, housing, and other services,UNRWA has become a central component in the Palestinian political structure....

That's right. Put your trust in your billions of friends!
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] Israeli forces disguised as civilians stormed a hospital in the West Bank and killed three Paleostinian terrorists.
CCTV footage that surfaced online appeared to show a handful of commandos dressed as nurses, women in hijabs, and others when they stormed through a hallway inside the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin carrying assault weapons.
The three Paleostinians were identified as siblings Mohammad and Basil Ayman al Ghazawi and Mohammad Walid Jalamna, according to Paleostinian state news agency WAFA. Basil Ayman al Ghazawi had been receiving treatment in the hospital for an injury he suffered.
The Israel Defense Forces said Malamneh "had recently been involved in promoting significant terrorist activity and was hiding in the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin" and said the other men included "Mohammed al-Ghazawi from the Jenin Camp, a terrorist operative of the Jenin Battalions who was involved in numerous attacks including firing at IDF soldiers in the area, and Basel al-Ghazawi from the Jenin Camp, Mohammed’s brother, an Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Far-right Israeli leader Itamar Ben Gvir posted footage of the operatives on social media and congratulated the forces who carried it out.
The mission "led to the elimination of three bandidosDeath Eaters — let all our enemies know that our forces will operate everywhere and by all means to protect and protect our citizens State of Israel," he said.
There were no immediate reports of other casualties.

There was a time even the wicked respected the medical and clergy professions as non-combatants, and treated their facilities as off-limits to attack of any kind. Then the mutts of the world began to use that precedent as cover for military ops, and basing. The savages in Gaza took that traditional immunity to a whole different level of wholesale deceit. Now, when it is totally Game On, they try to play the outrage card, but they maxxed out the Outrage Meter a long time ago!
[GEO.TV] Hamas ...the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,... said it had received and was studying a new proposal for a ceasefire and release of hostages in Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... , presented by mediators after talks with Israel, in what appeared to be the most serious peace initiative for months.
A senior Hamas official said the proposal involved a three-stage truce, during which the group would first release remaining civilians among hostages it captured on Oct. 7, then soldiers, and finally the bodies of hostages that were killed.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, did not indicate how long the stages would last or what was envisioned to follow the final stage.
But it was the first time since the collapse of the only brief truce of the war so far, in late November, that details were released of a new proposal being considered by both sides.
The ceasefire proposal followed talks in Gay Paree involving intelligence chiefs from Israel, the United States and Egypt, with the prime minister of Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi... . In a mark of the seriousness of the negotiations, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh ...became Prime Minister of Gaza after the legislative elections of 2006 which Hamas won. President Mahmoud Abbas dismissed Haniyeh from office on 14 June 2007 at the height of the Fatah-Hamas festivities, but Haniyeh did not acknowledge the decree and continues as the PM of Gazoo while Abbas maintains a separate PM in the West Bank... said he was going to Cairo to discuss it, his first public trip there for more than a month.
Hamas says it will release its remaining captives only as part of a wider deal to end the war permanently. Hamas leader Haniyeh said he was studying the ceasefire proposal. The priority for Hamas was to end the Israeli offensive and secure a full troop withdrawal, he said.

[Red State] Kataib Hezbollah, the Iranian-sponsored terrorist group believed responsible for the killing of three American soldiers at the Tower 22 base in Jordan Sunday, has declared it will suspend all military and security operations against US forces. A statement released by the group said attacks on the "occupation forces" are suspended to avoid "embarrassment for the Iraqi government." An Iraqi official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the decision to suspend hostilities was the result of negotiations by the US, Iraq, and the Iranian militias to "prevent escalation.."
In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
'Fighting has been prescribed for you, and it is dislikable to you, and perhaps you hate something that is good for you and love something that is bad for you, and God knows and you do not know.'
The valorous path is adverse and difficult, and its burdens are great, and the free people who proceed on it realise that however high the costs grow, they are insignificant in the face of realising God’s contentment and supporting the oppressed. The Islamic Resistance- Kata’ib Hezbollah took the decision to support our oppressed people in steadfast Gaza, doing so by its own will and without any intervention from others: in fact, our brothers in the axis, especially in the Islamic Republic, do not know how we conduct our work of jihad, and often they opposed putting pressure on and escalating against the American occupation forces in Iraq and Syria. Out of compliance on our part with fulfilling our humanitarian and ideological responsibility, we have precisely implemented wisdom, circumspection and observation of the Shari‘i and ethical balances in the harshest and most intense circumstances.
So as we announce the suspension of military and covert operations against the occupation forces- in order to avoid putting the Iraqi government in an embarrassing position- we will continue to defend our people in Gaza by other means, and we counsel the free and courageous mujahidin of Kata’ib Hezbollah to engage in passive defence (temporarily), if any American attack takes place against them : ‘Certainly God will establish a matter that was destined, and to God belong affairs.’
Secretary General of Kata’ib Hezbollah
Abu Husayn al-Hamidawi

Cute - Biden's stern letter had results.
Let's see if they follow through?
Let's see if another proxy doesnt take their place.
And when is the expiration date?
[WIRE] President Joe Biden told reporters on Tuesday that he has made his decision on how he plans to retaliate against Iranian-backed terrorists in the Middle East who murdered three U.S. soldiers this week, wounding dozens more, in a suicide drone attack. He decided, but then he forgot
Biden said that he holds Iran, the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, responsible for the deaths of the Americans "in the sense that they’re supplying the weapons to the people who did it."
Officials told CBS News that the suicide drone attack was successful because the drone flew behind a U.S. drone that was returning to the base after a mission. Because the U.S. drone was returning, the base temporarily took parts of its air defense system offline so the drone would not be shot down. The enemy drone exploited this gap and struck the barracks while the soldiers slept.
"Officials say plans call for the U.S. to launch a real bombing campaign, not just another round of one and done retaliatory strikes of the kind it has conducted so far," CBS News reported. "Once it begins, the bombing is likely to continue for a number of days."

...It also means that we were doing things in a steady, predictable pattern that had been observed and analyzed.
This sort of thing happened in both Europe and the Pacific during WWII - the Germans and Japanese figured out that even with IFF they could sneak individual aircraft through and land a punch.
While we are mourning our loses of our soldiers.
Boiled down, they sent a drone as payback, after we sent a drone.
Now Biden has his 2024 election year reason to escalate the situation.
Say ... Iran decides to retaliate going total war and using ground troops.
Some issues the US will immediately face.
Iran's army is estimated at 585K (when including terrorist cells and groups)
ISLAMIC Unity kicks in, as a another Fatwa will be issued declaring a Holy War. That Islamic troop number will quickly raise to 1+ million and tons of locally contributed supplies will follow.
Any Holy War protesters there, will either be shot protesting or jailed awaiting execution.
Plus Iran has plane loads of Billions in EU-CASH to spend on its war.
VS.
U.S. military has around 54K in the middle east and about 10% of that are non-combat support personnel. Which ties up more US Troops and resources. Resources like fuel, medical, food, ammo, weapons and etc. that have to come from 1,000's of miles away to maybe just get there.
Depending on the US Metro. US War protesters/Rioters/Looters will be hailed by the MSM and LSD's as patriots. A handful, at most, might die accidentally 1 in a 500 maybe jailed overnight.
Then there is the CCP, Taiwan, Panama Canal area issues at play and the likely 1000+ or so, terrorists that already here due to open borders.
Depends upon how close the airframes are and the resolution the radar being used can detect and at what range and if it had a query capability. In theory, 'IF' a AWACs was covering the area, the launch of the second drone could have been detected. Now if the systems where syched through something like TADIL J, the second drone would have been tagged as hostile by the AWAC and the data feed the defensive systems command and control systems (if any) at the base.
Here's another...
The dumbshit OPS were notified there was a Pred returning for rearm/refueling but were too busy playing grabass to monitor the incoming track.

Seems it would be easy to plan friendly approaches so any piggybackers would follow right over a little observation post staffed with a few guys with MANPADs.

esponsible for the deaths of the Americans "in the sense that they’re supplying the weapons to the people who did it."
We are supplying the weapons to the people who are committing the ethnic cleansing in Gaza.

Plus Iran has plane loads of Billions in EU-CASH to spend on its war.
Wheras we just magic new money into existence topay for all of our foreign wars, causing runaway inflation that is hurting Americans, especially those least able to afford it.
Someone's worried about losing a new war because we don't have enough troops?
How about losing a new war because the same people who lost against dudes with AKs in Afghanistan are in charge?
Hell, the Iranians will just have to charge forward and misgender our troops with bullhorns and they will break down crying and screaming about micro-aggressions.
Tell me again how this has ANY hope of winning a new war?

FBI? THe same FBI that set up the fake "Patriot Front" march and that creates its own terrorists it then proceeds to bust? ThatFBI? If they say the sky is blue you go outside and check.
Apparently it is also a military term. I infer also used in computer programming. I learnt it in math class — probably high school geometry for doing logic proofs.

Don't forget the thousands of Iranian terrorists who were allowed into the U.S. via Biden's border policy. AND you can bet the chattering elite at Harvard, Yale, etc... will plan protests and disruptions.
A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
