According to the sources familiar with the issued, an officer in the emergency operations of the "Security Belts" militia of the STC, Nader Ahmed Salih al-Nisri, and one of his lover companions, Riyad Hussein Mohammed Talib, were killed when an bomb went kaboom! in al-Mahfad area.

The sources indicated that unidentified button men targeted al-Nisri’s vehicle, amid accusations against al-Qaeda members of being behind the liquidation.

This came after targeting two military vehicles belonging to the STC last Wednesday in the al-Mahfad area, which left dead and maimed.
