Southern Yemeni separatist commander assassinated in Shabwah

This was reported by Yemen News Portal on Saturday, based on testimonies of local sources.
According to sources, an improvised bomb went kaboom! and targeted a military pickup vehicle carrying the commander of the second battalion in the first brigade of Shabwah Defense Forces, Salem al-Jabwani, near a security checkpoint in the district of "As Said".
Sources added that the earth-shattering kaboom led to the death of Jabwani and the injury of two of his escorts.
The attack took place hours after nine STC forces were maimed in a similar attack in al-Mahfad district in southern Yemen’s Abyan
