Saudi youth unemployment situation not sustainable
Sure it is -- except for strangely contradictory and seemingly perpetual senses of racial superiority and paranoid aggrievement, they have nothing to bring to the table. Who'd hire 'm?

Latest job numbers 418,000; been above 400,000 for 15 months.
Steve Wynn also went on a rant a few days ago about the business unfriendly climate created by Washinton.
Latin America leaders have been criticizing the administration about the debt limit business. I guess they are afraid they won't get their boodle on time.
O'Bumble is under siege. I have trouble understanding why his numbers are still relatively high.

I have trouble understanding why his numbers are still relatively high. Did you ever see the movie "Idiocracy" about a dumbed-down America? It is now coming true.

Easy: the coalition of tax-eaters, government employees & those in the pseudo-private sector whose fat salaries depend entirely upon the perpetuation of the regulatory state (many attorneys, all lobbyists, most accountants, etc.) approaches, and probably exceeds 50% of the population.

Did you ever see the movie "Idiocracy" about a dumbed-down America? It is now coming true.
That's one explanation. The movie was funny in a way that left a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach. The numbers are most likely being reported by biased polls. As Procopius2k said the polls are being put out by the same people who said 80% of the people want higher taxes. Joseph Goebbels was particularly good at telling the big lie often. The LSM are accomplices.
The video is part of Homeland Securitys $10 million dollar See Something, Say Something program that encourages Americans to inform on each other to the government when they seem them engaged in suspicious activity.
In the course of the 10 minute clip, a myriad of different behaviors are characterized as potential terrorism, including opposing surveillance, using a video camera, talking to police officers, wearing hoodies, driving vans, writing on a piece of paper, and using a cell phone recording application.
Despite encouraging viewers not to pay attention to a persons race in determining whether or not they may be a terrorist, almost all of the scenarios in the clip proceed to portray white people as the most likely terrorists. Bizarrely, nearly every single one of the patriotic Americans who reports on their fellow citizen is either black, Oriental or Arab.
This oddity, which on the surface appears to be surreal political correctness, has as its basis a far darker undertone -- that the DHS own internal documents list predominantly white conservative groups as the most likely terrorists, including Ron Paul supporters, gun owners, gold bullion enthusiasts, and a myriad of other comparatively banal political interests.
Paranoid conspiracy-theory extremism seems to have taken over a significant part of the US government. This is just the most recent addition. The deeper you go, the weirder it gets. All well and good if done by private individuals, not so good under the color of authority.

There's a waste of $10 million. I didn't see bicyle riding, going through TSA, white guys water-skiing, white guys walking the dogs, Washington's unlimited spending, white guys talking to their kids, white guys mowing the lawn, loss of freedoms, e.g. 4th Amendment rights, having lying politicians on TV, attempts to neuter the 2nd amendment, wholescale theft in D.C., etc. as terrorist activities.

If the DHS, the DOJ, and a dozen other alphabet soup agencies keep pushing, pushing, pushing, they may be their wish. I do think, though, that 80 million gun-toting, freedom-loving Americans descending on Washington, DC, might give them a bit of a wake-up. I hope it doesn't come to that, but with O'Bumble, anything's possible.

Would you like some regime change with that hope? I used to think that way, now I am certain that it is going to take exactly that.

This sounds like something that the 1930s Germany would put out.

Did ya notice people who like gold were included in their watch guidelines. That guy in the video at the start looked more like a real terrorist! The potato head gives it away and the blank stare!

Background;
The U.S. Army War College warned in 2008 November warned in a monograph [click on Policypointers pdf link to see the report] titled Known Unknowns: Unconventional Strategic Shocks in Defense Strategy Development of crash-induced unrest:
The military must be prepared, the document warned, for a violent, strategic dislocation inside the United States, which could be provoked by unforeseen economic collapse, purposeful domestic resistance, pervasive public health emergencies or loss of functioning political and legal order. The widespread civil violence, the document said, would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security.
The riots are everywhere and may soon be here.
Too many youth unemployed. Too many unemployed.
85% of college graduates are moving back home. No work. Those loans aren't going to be paid. If the power goes then so goes air conditioning. Then you will see people in the streets in this country. Food will spoil. No stores will be open. No gas for transportation, and no fast foods. What a mess. Things would go downhill very fast.
May as well have had a massive emp solar blast from the sun. Those that have anything will be a target even if others think you have anything(race doesn't matter). So the DHS viddy is an ignorant farce.

Think Katrina for the major metro areas that consume energy, food, clean water, etc but who NIMBY those key elements of civilization. Hard to barter trade when you really don't produce anything but paper profits and stuffed ballot boxes.

Quick read and find this interesting. Haaretz is interesting so I have bookmarked it. With the youth unemployed in so many parts of the world I am concerned they will get into more mischief. Now here with the increased temperatures is a bad mix.
I always said the riots stopped here because of food stamps/welfare and air conditioning.
"During the campaign, I testified in Florida day after day to Obamas savvy about and commitment to Israels security. I no longer think he cares much."
So the author, Marty Peretz is in some sense doing atonement for his own mistake.

Also from the piece, about Ha'aretz, for Dale:
My judgment is that he knows squat about Israel, maybe because the only reportage he seems to read about the Jewish state is from Haaretz, which is to Israel what PM used to be for the United States. Well, you dont know what PM was? All I can say is that it was not quite the Daily Worker. But let me confess: Haaretz is my home page. I am a masochist, and I like to see how far journalists can stray from the facts. Very far. Every day, actually.
Ha'aretz aims to be the New York Times of Israel, and succeeds in many ways, although the writers are more succinct. I prefer the Jerusalem Post for coverage that lacks the lefty, destroy Israel attitude.

All Israeli media web sites suck. They have all that slow load flash BS and pop-up crap. Very unprofessional. I like the content, but hate the annoying advertisement.

A multi-volume chronology and reference guide set detailing three years of the Mexican Drug War between 2010 and 2012.
Rantburg.com and borderlandbeat.com correspondent and author Chris Covert presents his first non-fiction work detailing
the drug and gang related violence in Mexico.
Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
dominated Mexico for six years.
Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
