NYC Mayor Eric Adams declared a state of emergency as he expects the city to spend $1billion on migrants being bused from the US-Mexico border

Adams called on the Biden administration to crack down on the migrant crisis

He also urged the federal government to provide funding to city's overburdened with new migrants and to bus them to other cities

The mayor warned that the city's shelters were already at capacity, and that construction of new migrant camps will be expedited in the Big Apple
