On Saturday, Senator Ted Cruz accused Senator Elizabeth Warren of making up a story about a man telling her he wouldn't vote for her because she's a woman

Cruz continued on by saying that: 'In today's Democrat Party, how do we know she doesn't?'

The comments were made at the seventh annual Basque Fry in Gardnerville, Nevada

At the same event, Cruz stumped for Nevada's Republican Senator hopeful Adam Laxalt
