White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre now dodges grilling on Biden giving compensation to migrants separated at the border and refers questions to the DOJ

Karine Jean-Pierre on Monday directed questions to the Department of Justice

It comes after days of shifting positions and controversy over payments to families separated at the border

Biden initially dismissed reports of $450,000 payments to families as 'garbage'

But he later said it was right that parents separated from children under Trump be given compensation

The idea has been called 'a slap in the face' for hardworking American families by the right

The DoJ works for the President and can surely provide answers for a pressing national story to the WH press office. Pure BS technique for not wanting to talk about getting caught doing something totally angering with our money and laws.
