[REGNUM] A large fire occurred on May 6 in the village of Karakul, Bolsherechensky District, Omsk Region. According to the regional head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 25 buildings were burned down in the village, including one grocery store and 14 residential buildings.
According to available information, no one was killed or injured. However, people have lost their homes, and this is a great grief. Some sources write that half of the village was burnt out, others that almost the whole of it. The fire has been localized, the reasons are being clarified, including a prosecutor's check. So far it is known that the fire came from the direction of the Kolosovsky district through the forest and swampy area with reeds.
