ISI, Pak-Army Chiefs hold talks on Afghan peace process in Bahrain

(ISI) have attended a session in Bahrain, Pakistain’s Inter-Services Public Relations reported on Wednesday.
"Current developments in the Afghan grinding of the peace processor, border security, and necessary steps to facilitate an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned grinding of the peace processor were discussed," ISPR reported.
The meeting was reportedly part of US-led international efforts to speed up the Afghan grinding of the peace processor with the key regional players.
Bahrain’s National Guard Commander Field Marshal Mohammed Bin Isa Al Khalifa and National Security Adviser Maj Gen Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa also met with Bajwa.
Both parties discussed security issues and common national interests.
This comes at a time when UN efforts are ongoing to establish a summit in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

in the matter of the Afghan grinding of the peace processor, the summit will also host special envoys from India, Russia, Pakistain, China, and Iran.
More of the pointless minuet to distract from the fact that it will accomplish nothing while forcing the Afghans to do things they know to be counterproductive. But at least the beds will be soft and the meals sumptuous and frequent in faraway Bahrain.
