Ukrainian-linked anti-Jewish riot in Russia: What is known so far

There have been a string of anti-Jewish incidents in Russia’s southern Muslim-majority regions, since the war between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas began, earlier this month.

Media sources in Moscow believe the unrest has been encouraged by Ukraine-based Telegram channels running information war operations.

...The unrest at the airport prompted a massive police response, with dozens of law enforcement vehicles spotted at the scene. Police clad in riot gear entered the airport, detaining multiple protesters, footage circulating online suggests. Some 20 people, including at least six police officers, were injured in clashes, according to local health authorities

Because Vlad really wants Jews - there are ads in all Russian language newspapers in Israel.

#2 What does he want Jews for, Grom? Given that he just called in representatives of Iran and Hamas in support of Hamas — that’s not the kind of thing that would make Russian Israelis feel welcome, surely.

#6 Ah. Spain and Portugal tried that in 2015, calling for applicants who could document that they were direct descendants of those who’d been expelled in 1492 (Spain) and 1497 (Portugal). Of 239,000 applications between the two countries, 90,000 were given citizenship — 36,000 by Spain and 54,000 by Portugal. It will be interesting to see how many actually move there and what effect they have.
