#4 This was a historic heat wave that is now ending.

San Angelo, for example, was at or above 105F for 14 out of 15 days ending yesterday. Some places in TX had 14 or 15 days in a row over 105F, some had 4 or 5 in a row at or over 110F.

#9 In 1979 in Phoenix City, Alabama we had a week of 100+ temperatures. Lowest was 104 and highest was 107. I was working construction on a 3 tiered parking lot. Even my boots were soaked through. Also no AC in the house.
