#2 Reminds me of when my kids went to Elementary School. As they were taught of Black History Month... They all, as young children, realized of the lack of contribution to society.

#9 Back when there was huge internal discussion of the tolerance for "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", the issue was one of impact of homosexual men in close contact with straight men and its impact on unit cohesion, combat effectiveness and the idea that rules are not situational. A number of us saw then the militancy of the gay movement to not just seek tolerance, or even overt acceptance, but dominance and demands of acceptance of increasingly aberrant behavior. We were shouted down, and now, they move to obliterate every aspect of traditional normalcy. This isn't tolerance, it is imperious, aggressive imprinting of societal norms. And for those of you who feel the need to categorize my opinion as homophobic, yep! I don't f-ing care.
