#2 Flynn sounds like a conservative despite claiming to be a Democrat. Trump is going to have to sort out our relationships/policies with Russia, Turkey and Syria quickly. His pick for SoS is going to be crucial.

#3 Flynn is a DIA guy, and that's the one agency that hasn't fouled up repeatedly. Smart guy. Abrasive, and not a "people person". But in the role of NatSecAdv he doesn't have to be managerial so that aspect of his "style" is a moot point except to his staff. He just has to be knowledgeable and intelligent. He is both. He just needs to learn a bit about being a little less impolitic in his public statements, save that for private advice to avoid tipping his hand where the leftists can oppose or twist it before he gets a chance to implement.
