#3 What do we tell the Brits who spent the the equivalent of a years defense budget on two carriers designed for the f-35? Perhaps we could reopen the BOMARC line for them.

#5 They would have to tear them from the USMC, they got none. The Australians, the Joooooooos, the Dutch, the Japs, the Sorks are invested in this plane. It must be made to work. Giving them A-10s and 24 non existent Super-Darts ain't not work. The F-22 line is dead forever, killed by the same logic killing the F-35. In 20 years we will have 49 F-22, 36 f-35a and 500 lawn darts. Hell, BOMARC could carry a nuke at least.
