#2 Got my 'you've been hacked' letter yesterday and Spousal Unit got hers last week. So far no indications of nefarious activity.

#3 The problem is that the Chinese may not be interested in petty identity theft. They are probably looking for people they can blackmail into "cooperating".

So if you don't have anything in your history that would make you blackmailable, you probably don't have anything to worry about (yet).

#4 Seems to me if nobody else is gonna take responsibility the buck should stop on the desk in the Oval Office. But then he was busy with ObamaCare, GerbilWorming, amnesty and now selling us down the river with TPP so he had no time for the security of our country's computer systems. So she's right. No one is to blame.

But if he was the CIO of a for profit corporation he'd be outta work by now. A good CIO would demand investment in security systems and resign if he didn't get it. Better to resign in protest before the failure than afterwards.

#5 The degree of incompetence and avarice of this administration is such that nothing surprises me anymore. The computers magically arrived, set themselves up, then went on-line w/o human intervention. Sure.
