#5 The solution of course is for the Government to 'manage' everyone's 401K and IRAs for them - to 'protect' them from EVIL and CORRUPT bankers and money managers.

And of course to make sure everyone gets their fair share. After all don't you think at some point you have enough retirement savings?

#6 The ultimate solution is that the gubmint will simply take 401K's, IRAs, and bank accounts - for the greater good of course. In 1933 FDR made it illegal to own gold and also invalidated terms in previously valid contracts - the US Supreme Court ratified both actions due to the "emergency", whatever it was at the time.
