#3 Is that part of the Obama-Kerry-Iran deal? Iran gets Iraq for suppressing ISIS in exchange for a 10 year moratorium on nuke development? Since Iran can't be trusted in any deal, they get Iraq for nada. If true, it is a despicable deal. We lost 2000+ of our military to Iranian-supplied IEDs in Iraq. What's going in Washington is shameful.

I don't think Iran is so much suppressing ISJV as consolidating its gains. If I'm reading it right Barry needs ISJV as a pin vs. Assad and Sissi as well as Iran. I also have the feeling an agreement was struck with Turkey, whatever that may be. Kurdistan needs to get organized quick. I also feel that by default Barry does not like Abdullah. Arab Spring, catch the scent.

#11 Christianne Amanpour and her mention of Netanyahu's dystopian and Strangelovian view of the world. The Iranians believe in the descent of a 12th Iman whereas the world will end as we know it. She should read: 12th Iman. There is a clear belief in both Sunni and Shiite segments of the religion that Israel needs to be destroyed. The Iranians have a kind of Jim Jones (Guyana and the People's Temple) view of the world.
