#3 It's all a trade-off. You can have a larger caliber firearm (such as a .45 cal.) and more rounds, say a double-stack which is good for protection or you can go with the small firearm that fits your hand but is mostly a mouse stunner. Larger game that might be high on crack or PCP; it might just tend to tick them off. The issue gets debated often.
