#3 I imagine to Joe, Tea Partiers are just as frightning as terrorists.

#4 Bobby, probably even more frightening. After all, the Secret Service will keep him safe from terrorists. But the Tea Party types can vote him out of office.

#5 I liken Biden to a morning bowel movement (with no roughage).

#6 Biden can be written off an the resident administration idiot because there is absolutely no connection between his brain (given that there is a brain in his cranium) and his mouth.

#7 A Tea Party person snarked, "Are the Democrats now getting their talking points from North Korea?"

The funny thing is both that Joe came out later to half disavow what he said, in that he didn't say Tea Party and terrorist in the same sentence, or something. But by then, a whole slew of lefty MSM talking heads took up the talking point equating the Tea Party with terrorists.

Tucson editorial cartoonist.

Chris Matthews: Tea Party Republicans are baby kidnapping terrorists.

#8 Al Sharpton was a little off message, by saying that the Tea Party is a monster that will destroy you. Whoever "you" is.

Paul Krugman says Tea Party will blow up economy.

#10 I seem to recall connotations in a similar vain by the Democrats about the upstart Republicans in 1860 as well.

#11 "This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money."

Representative Doyle is not a Rantburg regular and appears to be a Democratic moron, but I say that remark is Snark of the Day material. (we will let him slide on subject/verb agreement)

#12 When you cannot defeat your adversary by reasoned discourse, then you make a personal attack.

These are the geniuses running our country.

#13 AP, exactly what I was gonna say. The donks these days are full of hyperbole but entirely lacking in civil, well reasoned discourse. I always figured that the first person to lose his temper loses the argument. Such a person will resort to screaming and yelling when he or she can't come up something logical to say. These people have lost their temper. It sounds as if they've lost their minds. The questions is: will the American people get it?

#15 It used to be that it was the party OUT of power that was insane. Maybe the democrats can see the writing on the wall.

#16 Someone made a very wise comment on this sort of language 151 years ago:

Under all these circumstances, do you really feel yourselves justified to break up this Government unless such a court decision as yours is, shall be at once submitted to as a conclusive and final rule of political action? But you will not abide the election of a Republican president! In that supposed event, you say, you will destroy the Union; and then, you say, the great crime of having destroyed it will be upon us! That is cool. A highwayman holds a pistol to my ear, and mutters through his teeth, “Stand and deliver, or I shall kill you, and then you will be a murderer!”
