#1 Obviously, anyone who votes is simply misinformed. How could anyone disagree with liberals?

#2 New York Drones (bird cage liner of note) tells us that we're rejecting Obambi for not being liberal enough. Who knew?!?

#3 Take another "hit" off your bong.....drink your kool-aid..... and snort some blow.... There, you are now safely back to your alternate reality.

#4 we're rejecting Obambi for not being liberal enough. Who knew?!?

We aren't. But their friends are, being very far down the left side of the spectrum. So the dear New York Times journalists are reporting what they see, like that charming lady who was shocked at Richard Nixon's election -- nobody she knew had voted for him, after all.

#6 A lot of Conservatives were made at Bush and McCain for not being conservative enough. That's what happens when you try to placate the center instead of having policies that the center might naturally gravitate towards (fiscal sanity, pro-American immigration plans for example).

When you've lost your party base, and the other party (of course) you face a landslide. That happened in 2008 and will happen in 2010 but worse since the middle is also against the Democrats this time.

#7 Why does anyone listen to Huffington anyway? She was hard right while married to a Republican, became hard left when it seemed useful. Her website chews through money incredibly fast and is far from profitable. All of this qualifies her to know what??

#9 She's got a point. America wont'be rejecting Democrats per se. Reality suggests that America has rejected unpopular Progressive policies. But somehow I don't think that's what she meant.

#11 American voters are so fickle. They may not all understand the finer points of progressive policy (aka communism) but they understand higher taxes, unemployment and pay cuts perfectly well.

#12 I know democrats who know that nationalized humanitarianism/war on poverty can only work if there is money in the bank. They are unhappy campers as well...almost like they were fed some BS.

#13 I don't really care what A. Huffington says. I'd say the voters are thoroughly pissed at Washington over how badly they have screwed things up over the years. If the Pubs win they will be under scrutiny too.

You answered your question -- she gets attention from "journalists" trying to catch a bit of that sweet cash. It's easy money -- just toe the line, hate Jews, hate Americans, hate capitalism... just be a normal journalist!

#15 Don't think of it as an election. Think of it as a restraining order.

#16 I don't know how easy the money will be -- apparently Ms Huffington burnt through several hundred thousand dollars bussing all those people from New York City to Washington, DC.

#17 HuffinPuff and the rest of the left (and a fair share of the Republican Leadership) still don't get it.

People aren't pissed off at a particular party as they are against the power-hungry elitist of *BOTH* parties - Democrat and Republican who think larger government, more spending, more regulation, higher taxes is any way to fix things.
