#2 "dabbled in witchcraft" might be having explored Wiccan spirituality, and realizing it didn't work for her. I think people often explore other spiritual paths, people are curious by nature. But she didn't stick with it.

Besides, who the heck cares? What does that have to do with lawmaking?

#3 And for what it is worth, I know a few people who are Wiccan and have even attended a Wiccan wedding (handfasting). It was actually quite a beautiful ceremony. In fact, Wicca is even now recognized by the US military as a religion. It is basically a modern attempt to recreate a Celtic pagan religion that was practiced before the Romans brought Christianity to the region.

It really isn't all that spooky in that it isn't "evil". One of the key tenants is that what you do comes back to you only stronger. If you do harm, then worse harm will fall on you.

#4 So biden is better?
I think not. O'Donnel is at least honest and far more intelligent than that half wit.

#5 I recently worked on a writing project with a woman who is a Wiccan. Fine person. I'd stand in her defense any day.

#8 because that's the best the Lame Stream Media can produce...just like wonder boy and his basketball or whatever - will she keep her constitutional oaths i.e. uphold & defend the U.S. Const? Will she be a fiscal conservative and cut spending and taxes? That's all I give a shit about and all I've ever cared about when it comes to politicos on both sides of the aisle - the rest is funny to debate but fairly irrelevant.

#9 More leftard whistling past the graveyard. Do NOT let them escape your wrath Lady O'Donnell, a spell upon them, frogs from their pudgy leftest arsses, perhaps a painful, oooozing pox!

#12 Feeble attempts by a jerk (Bill Maher) to palinize O'Donnell. Too back she's not a witch; maybe she could exorcise the Senate. Who gives a rat hind end what she said in 1999 about a date she had with a wierdo who was into witchcraft which occurred in high school. So we have a donk congresscritter from Illinois, Bobby Seale, who: 1. co-founder (self-styled revolutionary) of the Black panthers, 2. was part of the original Chicago 8 who was on trial for inciting a riot among other things, 3. was accused of murder, and 4. introduced legislation to require everyone to have to register the number of guns owned on their 1040 forms. What about Al "count the votes until you get the result you want" Franken? Barney Frank who helped take down the economy. Maxine Waters? Peolosi? Reid? Rangel? O'Donnell looks damned good compared to this rogue's gallery of donks in Congress.

#14 I find this accusation hilarious, because, to Evangelicals, for someone to have *first* gone astray, and *then* found redemption, is the best possible thing. It validates what they do. It's the whole principle behind the idea of being "born again".

#16 High School Hijinks

Wicked witchcraft.
And although I know it's strictly taboo
when you arouse the need in me
my heart says "yes indeed" in me
Proceed with what you're lead in 'me to!
It's such an ancient pitch
but one I wouldn't switch'
Cause there's no nicer witch than you!

#20 Directly and indirectly O'Donnell has raised over $2 Million in campaign funds. She should use some of that money and travel to all three Delaware counties and personally apologise for appearing on the Bill Maher show 22 time.

#21 I guess the anti-masturbation thing didn't take. My thought on that was given a choce between her and a self-described "bearded Marxist", most people would choose the one who wasn't a wanker.

I don't get that either. Maybe once but 22 times. I don't like the smarmy, smug, smarter- than-everyone else attitude he projects. His show is about nothing. He strikes me as a dumba$$ elitist who is full of it and himself.

Thank you for that. As a Born Again Christian Zionist I dabbled in the Which Craft and kept getting that feeling that it is so wrong. Strong feeling so profound that I threw all my books and such away. Left it behind long ago. Thanks Holy Spirit!

#26 Is "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" one of those instructions that no longer apply?

#27  Is "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" one of those instructions that no longer apply?

Correct, Aris. Because in America the secular law of the land has precedence over the law of any particular religion. Abortionists may not be killed by those claiming their religion forbids such behaviour, either... nor cartoonists like the "Draw Mohammed Day" woman. Those who kill anyway will be tried in a court of law for first degree murder, and generally sentenced to life in prison without parole.

#30 Trailing wife, I'm aware about America's secular law - but same way that Christians may feel morally/religiously obliged to vote for lawmakers that will push for the abolition of abortion, do they feel obliged to vote for candidates that will push for the killing of witches? Or is this like Moses' dietary laws that no longer apply to Christians?

#36 The masturbation thing is silly and the witchcraft thing doesn't matter. Not at all pleased about her stupid harassment lawsuit. Nor her seeming inability to ever hold a real job. Nor her paying herself rather well from campaign funds. The only reason to vote for her is her opponent is an arrogant, power-abusing neo-Marxist, and ugly too. Of course that wasn't enough to beat al-Franken.
