#1 I read the comments most of them were off the mark by quite a bit. One fact is true however growing fuel on land that should be producing food is a mortal sin.

#2 I lay the starvation of millions at the feet of Al Gore and his religious flock. The ethanol craze and the cooling of the planet will form a perfect storm of starvation and food shortage.

Once again, the poor third world countries will suffer because they don't have the technology or ability to help themselves through this because of the "Green" movement.

The "Green" movement has and will have more blood on their hands. Maybe even more than Stalin.

#3 I am not so much worried about the 3rd world I am worried about us right here in the USA. Oil has gone up 73% in one year, food will have to follow. Will Farmers be able to buy the fuel to grow it?

#4 I don't know. I would love to be able to tell OPEC that a bushel of wheat at $102 is a result of their economic mismanagement..

But yes, I am concerned about the price of food here, but it's going to suck in the emerging markets...

#5 If that means a revolutionary change in the national diet, then so be it. Maybe that would be no bad thing.

In all things the Brits have turned dhimmi.

#6 Most of the food problems in the Third world are due to the destruction of war, most of which are within countries rather than between them, these days. How many of those millions in refugee camps used to farm or herd? For that matter, as we all know Zimbabwe used to export foodstuffs, now the people are almost all fled or starving or both.
