#2 Wow. Farther down in the thread is this -

Like hundreds of others he had heard the news of the decision to flood his district on the radio. The authorities had given people in the district until 5pm on Tuesday to get out - after that they would open the floodgates.

That musta been FEMA Director Brown, acting on orders of Bush, planned and executed by Karl Rove. Cudna been a local guy.

Either that, or some moron misunderstood the radio broadcast.

#5 Why would they have given any warning? There is no logic to their dementia.

#6 Why would they have given any warning?

Maybe some form of psychiatric warfare?

#7 And they wonder why it is that a majority of the nation views them as nasty nutters.

#8 The latest Minesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory contains this question:

A large natural disaster has occurred, and there are reports of widespread death and destruction. Which of the following would you be most likely to do?

(a) Go to a place of worship and offer prayer for the victims of the disaster.

(b) Make a donation in cash or in kind to the relief effort.

(c) Volunteer your services to the relief effort.

(d) Go on the Internet and use the disaster as an excuse to vent your seething, uncontrollable, all-consuming hatred of George W. Bush, the most evil man in the world, the smirking chimpanzee moron evil genius who is trying to take over the world for Haliburton and must be stopped at all costs--WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU PEOPLE! HOW COULD YOU BE SO STUPID TO ELECT HIM HE'S HISTORY'S GREATEST MONSTER, BUSH CAUSES GLOBAL WARMING, ACNE, THE CLEVELAND BROWNS OFFENSIVE LINE, EVERYTHING BAD THAT EVER HAPPENED ANYWHERE AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT FOR ELECTING HIM YOU STUPID SHEEP . . . . .

Denizens of Daily Kos tend to check option (d).

#9 They should adopt a new category of crime for these clowns -- Ass-hat and Moon-battery.

A number of Dem politicians and conservative Christian leaders would be locked up immediately.

#10 On your comment about Conservative Christian leaders, Tibor:

My place of employment has this interesting attitude toward mistakes:

1. Correct your mistake.
2. Figure out Why you made your mistake.
3. List all the other, related, things you do where the possiblity of the mistake being made COULD have been made.
4. Go back and MAKE SURE you didn't make that same KIND of mistake when you did those other, related things.

A rigorous discipline. When applied to the MSM and Bush, you KNOW they'd lie about Bush to push their agenda, because you made the mistake of believing them, and you figured that out.

Bravo. You've done steps 1 and 2.

NOW do 3 and 4, based on the very remote possiblity that all the stuff you believe about Christian leaders came from the SAME MSM, with the SAME prediliction to lie to further their agenda, and that maybe, just maybe, they started their lying LONG BEFORE Bush came on the scene.

NOTE: my bosses do not fire me for making a mistake.

They'd fire me if I BS regarding steps 3 and 4.
