#1 The head of the Egitim Is education union Veli Demir denounced the measure as impossible to enforce, given that tattoos could not be removed like a piece of clothing.

"Are they going to strip off their skin?" he asked, quoted by the Radikal online newspaper.

Veli, old pal, don't forget who you're dealing with here. Plenty of guys with beards and sharp knives who will be more than willing to take care of that for the lil' nippers.

#2 Personally I wish that we could ban tattoos and piercings here but that's just my aesthetic judgement. I really couldn't support enforcing this as much as I would enjoy the result.
