-Lurid Crime Tales-
Illinois Chicago Shooting Suspect Who Fled to Florida Released by Judge Who Does Not Consider Him a Flight Risk
[Breitbart] A Chicago man who has had several run-ins with the law was released again recently as the Windy City endures devastating crime.

CWB Chicago reported Wednesday that more than a year after a judge signed an arrest warrant for 32-year-old Darrius Wilson, a suspect authorities wanted to capture regarding a road rage shooting in December, he was found and arrested in Florida.

However, when officials extradited Wilson back to Chicago a Cook County judge decided to release him again, the outlet said.

In regard to the alleged road rage incident, the CWB Chicago report said a victim was driving to work when a car nearly hit him. The car eventually pulled up next to his vehicle and the victim claimed he heard what he believed to be two gunshots.

The victim saw a pair of “bullet defects” in his vehicle when he arrived at work. While investigating the case, license plate reader data and surveillance footage reportedly helped officers identify Wilson’s Dodge Challenger.

Authorities said surveillance footage shows the suspect, who uses a wheelchair, being helped into the vehicle a few minutes before the shooting occurred. “Wilson, charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, has been convicted of firearms-related crimes four times, prosecutors said,” per the CWB Chicago report.

Following his arrest a few days after the incident, the suspect reportedly refused to answer officials’ questions about the case and was let go.

A judge then signed a local arrest warrant for the man, but days later another judge signed a nationwide one in hopes of catching him, the CWB Chicago report said. The outlet noted the officials with the FBI Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force located him in Ruskin, Florida.

“Cook County officials flew him back to Chicago and brought him before Judge David Kelly for a detention hearing,” the CWB Chicago report continued:

“After hearing from prosecutors and Wilson’s attorney, Kelly refused to keep Wilson in custody. He also didn’t put him on the sheriff’s electronic monitoring program. Instead, he sent him home with orders to stay in the house at night,” the outlet said, noting he is scheduled to appear in court on January 26.

In September, Illinois became the first state to eliminate cash bail.

Professor and Election Expert Hacks into Dominion Voting Machine Tabulator with pen to change vote totals
[Gateway] In June 2023, the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Georgia unsealed the 96-page Halderman Report — the Security Analysis of Georgia’s ImageCast X Ballot Marking Devices.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger had been hiding this report from the public for two years.

University of Michigan Professor of Computer Science and Engineering J. Alex Halderman and Security Researcher and Assistant Professor at Auburn University Drew Sringall collaborated on the report where they discovered many exploitable vulnerabilities in the Dominion Voting Systems’ ImageCast X system.

Far-left Judge Amy Totenberg sealed and covered up the results of the investigation of Dominion voting machines in Georgia and sat on the report until this week.

The report confirmed that votes can be altered in the Dominion voting machines. In fact, the report revealed that the Dominion software is vulnerable and can be hacked.

Following its release, VoterGA founder Garland Favorito joined Steve Bannon on The War Room to discuss the findings from the explosive report.

Trump-hating Secretary of State Raffensperger hid this information from the public until 2023. Why was that?

Here is a copy of the Halderman Report released in June.

Watchdog questions 2016 suspension of Hunter Biden's Secret Service detail
[JustTheNews] Fitton explained that there were other emails that showed Biden and members of his family accompanying him on business trips during his time as Vice President.

"Joe was communicating with the president of Ukraine at the time," Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said on the Tuesday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "Hunter was briefed on it or received details about the fact he was going to be briefed on it and the details of the call. Why on earth was Hunter Biden getting that type of information? And again, it further undermines the ... claim that Joe and Hunter weren't communicating about Ukraine."

"Secondly, the more interesting issue is why wasn't Hunter given Secret Service protection while they were over in Kosovo?" he continued. "That was a big trip for the ... Biden family because there was an event where Beau Biden, who had just died, was being given some type of monument in Kosovo. So the whole family was there. So why wasn't a Hunter getting Secret Service protection?"
Was he possibly sharing his father’s protection since they were in the same place?
Last week, Judicial Watch obtained 426 pages of records that showed that Biden had signed off on the cessation of Secret Service protection for Hunter Biden and Beau Biden’s daughter, Natalie, in August of 2016 during a trip to Kosovo. Fitton explained that other emails showed members of Biden's family accompanied him on business trips during his time as vice president.

"These are 210 emails from Joe Biden from his days as vice president to members of his family. It shows that they were closely working with him on political and government matters," he said.

The records the watchdog obtained show that Biden and members of his family allegedly used private emails to discuss government meetings.

The White House has not responded for comment at this time.

#5  I have a familial connection and affection for the USSS, my father was on the primary Presidential Detail for FDR for the entire War, and with Truman until 1946 when he transferred to State. He told me that they had well rehearsed awareness of the privacy needs of the President, and went to great lengths to provide the confidence in that privacy would be absolute. The railroad travel and scheduling pauses in New Jersey, with the entire detail dismounting the Presidential car during visitations by certain individual for example.

I imagine that is as true today as then, but also worry about the apparent inability to define the Delaware visitation lists for Biden, which certainly exist, or the risible cocaine incident at the WH itself.

Federal secrets spill on COVID origins amid rodent research on risks of lab mods, vax in pregnancy
[JustTheNews] Fauci advisor who said he used Gmail to avoid FOIA allegedly denies bad behavior in congressional interview. "Autism-like behavior" observed in male rats whose pregnant mothers were given Pfizer COVID vaccine.

The National Institutes of Health appears to be struggling to hide its dirty laundry on COVID-19 origins against a rash of leaks, congressional probes, and Freedom of Information Act requests, even when officials are determined to thwart sunlight.

The ongoing exposure of their communications and actions isn't the only thing likely worrying federal scientists.

Chinese researchers claim to have modified another animal virus that killed every humanized lab mouse it infected, while Turkish researchers said the male offspring of pregnant rats they inoculated with Pfizer's COVID vaccine exhibited "pronounced autism-like behaviors."

House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Chairman Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, said he plans to dig through the "personal email account" for Dr. Anthony Fauci's senior scientific adviser at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, David Morens, following a six-hour transcribed interview Thursday with "limited obstruction."

Morens was supposed to testify just before the new year, but the Department of Health and Human Services refused to let him answer questions about COVID origins, Wenstrup said. HHS didn't answer Just the News queries about its initial objections and any conditions it set for the new interview.

"HHS continues to withhold requested documents and objected to various questions under questionable pretenses during the transcribed interview," subcommittee spokesperson Olive Coleman told Just the News when asked to elaborate on the "limited obstruction."

In 2021 Morens told other scientists trying to discredit the lab-leak theory, including one who said SARS-CoV-2 looked "potentially" engineered, that "I try to always communicate on Gmail because my NIH email is FOIA'D constantly" and that "I will delete anything I don't want to see in the New York Times."

On Thursday, however, Morens "denied deleting any COVID-19 origins material or forwarding any federal records to his Gmail in an effort to avoid FOIA," Wenstrup said. "The Select Subcommittee has serious questions about the legitimacy of these claims."

NIH removed Morens from his position and put him on administrative leave after the subcommittee "revealed his potential federal records violation last year," Wenstrup said.

His panel initially sought documents and communications from Morens' personal cellphone and email last summer, then subpoenaed the agency in the fall after "months of stonewalling" and a "lackluster production of documents."

The subcommittee has yet to release transcripts from interviews with Fauci, the former NIAID director, and former NIH Director Francis Collins, just select quotes and paraphrases. Both allegedly recanted their portrayals of lab-leak as a conspiracy theory. (The theory is that COVID-19 leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.)

An animal-testing watchdog sued NIH earlier this month for allegedly stonewalling nearly four years of FOIA requests for documents relevant to its funding of the EcoHealth Alliance, the Wuhan Institute and gain-of-function research, which seeks to learn more about viruses but also makes them more lethal or transmissible.

The feds are also on the defensive after House Energy and Commerce Committee Republicans published documents that show Beijing-based Institute of Pathogen Biology scientist Lili Ren uploaded a SARS-CoV-2 sequence to NIH's GenBank Dec. 28, 2019.

NIH deleted Ren's submission because it was "missing some of the technical (not scientific) information" that GenBank requires and Ren didn't respond to its followup, the committee said. It's older than another SARS-CoV-2 sequence posted to GenBank that NIH also deleted.

HHS acknowledges Ren's sequence was "nearly identical" to the one China shared two weeks later with the World Health Organization, the committee said. The Chinese Communist Party previously claimed it "informed the international community of the outbreak as soon as possible."

"This significant discovery further underscores why we cannot trust any of the so-called ‘facts’ or data provided by the CCP and calls into serious question the legitimacy of any scientific theories based on such information," said Energy and Commerce Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash., Health Subcommittee Chairman Brett Guthrie, R-Ky., and Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Morgan Griffith, R-Va.

Former Senate Finance Committee investigator Paul Thacker emphasized that Ren was on "Fauci's payroll" at the time because she was a co-investigator on the EcoHealth bat-coronavirus project funded by NIAID. He said NIH ignored multiple requests to tell him how much it paid Ren, whose salary and benefits are redacted from the grant.

Not redacted: NIH paid for Ren's travel to the U.S. to meet with EcoHealth President Peter Daszak and University of North Carolina gain-of-function researcher Ralph Baric.

Baric covertly contributed to a peer-reviewed journal article in February 2020 that claims no "credible evidence" supports "laboratory engineering" of SARS-CoV-2. Fauci and Collins also covertly shaped the similar Proximal Origins paper dismissing lab-leak published the following month, earning the nickname "Bethesda Boys" from the listed authors.

Wenstrup's subcommittee flagged other notable disclosures by Morens, the Fauci adviser, in his interview. He allegedly characterized Daszak as a "close friend," in Wenstrup's words, while Daszak called Morens his "mentor" in an even longer subcommittee interview in November.

"Dr. Morens stood with 100% certainty behind the zoonotic origin of COVID-19" while admitting "he has not explored any of the scientific evidence behind a potential lab leak or an engineered virus," the subcommittee said.

Morens would have a tougher time dismissing a leak of a lab-modified pangolin virus detailed in a preprint paper, not yet peer-reviewed, posted Jan. 4 by Chinese researchers.

"SARS-CoV-2-related pangolin coronavirus GX_P2V(short_3UTR) can cause 100% mortality in human ACE2-transgenic mice, potentially attributable to late-stage brain infection," they wrote, referring to mice genetically modified to make the ACE2 protein that SARS-CoV-2 targets.

All four humanized mice who were infected died in 7-8 days, the researchers said. "This underscores a spillover risk of GX_P2V into humans and provides a unique model for understanding the pathogenic mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2-related viruses."

Though the study is small and doesn't necessarily translate into more-complex human immune systems, the benefit of such lab-modified pathogens is vastly outweighed by the recurrence of "leaks and safety crises" in even the best-run labs, former drug industry reporter Alex Berenson wrote in his newsletter Tuesday.

He noted a young French researcher died in 2019 from a brain disease attributable to cutting herself years earlier while "cleaning a machine used to cut brain sections from mice infected with a version of mad-cow disease."

The Springer Nature journal Neurochemical Research published the COVID vaccine-pregnant rats paper Jan. 10. While both sexes of offspring were affected, males were hit harder, the Turkish researchers found.

The Pfizer vaccine "significantly alters WNT gene expression and BDNF levels in both male and female rats, suggesting a profound impact on key neurodevelopmental pathways," they wrote, referring to a "major family of signaling molecules" and a "key molecule involved in plastic changes related to learning and memory."

"Notably, male rats exhibited pronounced autism-like behaviors, characterized by a marked reduction in social interaction and repetitive patterns of behavior," the researchers found.

"Furthermore, there was a substantial decrease in neuronal counts in critical brain regions, indicating potential neurodegeneration or altered neurodevelopment. Male rats also demonstrated impaired motor performance, evidenced by reduced coordination and agility."

It is the Republican's turn to win. Like Big Time Wrestling or any other soap opera, the bad guys have to win once in a while to keep the fans interested. Plus plus, they don't need to have a real candidate and could run with Kamala.

Biden's sinking reelection campaign slammed by fellow Dems: ‘He needs a change.'
Subject line modified only slightly.
[Washington Examiner] With the 2024 election season in full swing, Democratic lawmakers are concerned about President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign as support for former President Donald Trump continues to mount.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who made his second run for the White House in 2020 competing against the Democratic president, said Biden needs a new campaign strategy.

"There is no question, it is very hard for young people, I think for most Americans, to be excited about what is going on right now," Sanders told CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday. "President [Biden] has got to change course."

Sanders, a democratic socialist, has pushed Biden to hold Israeli leaders accountable amid a major escalation in the Middle East. Marking over 100 days of the war in Gaza, Sanders introduced a resolution to require the State Department to issue a report on whether Israel is breaching international human rights standards in its attacks on Gaza. The fighting erupted on Oct. 7 when the militant group Hamas attacked Israel.

I suspect Kamala-lala, knowing this, will cling to the re-election farce with great tenacity, supported by the Cappaqua/CGI mafia, desperate for renewed access. The First Son and Step-Mom "Edith" Biden know that once out in the cold their future involves serious risk of incarceration for a lifetime of fraud and influence peddling on an industrial scale. They will resist any change until blanket pardons are forthcoming. (As an interesting aside, if Jojo has a stroke, and is rendered non-compos mentis, would any pardon be deemed valid, and one wonders if such documents are already issued, and safely secured?)

Posted by: Frank G || 01/21/2024 15:34 Comments || Top||

#9  Frank I was partially wrong. A replacement VP has to be confirmed by both houses.

“By a vote of 92 to 3 on November 27, 1973, the Senate confirmed the nomination of Gerald Ford. The following week, on December 6, the House of Representatives gave its approval, 387 to 35.”

That process yielded Ford and Rockefeller.

#15  Presuming you are referring to Section 2, how do you force Kamala to step down? Kamala can not be "fired" by Biden.

Posted by: Chantry || 01/21/2024 19:45 Comments || Top||

#16  It looks like they could use the 25th to oust Kamala just based on her stupidity. The word inability is pretty broad. I doubt they would do it. I think they have enough dirt on all of their own politicians and can get them to resign at will, but I think they will give her the presidency for a couple months. Biden has set the bar low.

The stopper on an immediate replacement is the Congressional block preventing them sliding in a preferred candidate. They will put someone like Elisabeth Warren in but the resignation has to happen after the ticket is established at the Convention otherwise Kamala and Warren will demand to run.

#17  The hard part would be getting the Republican-controlled House to go along with approving the replacement. I’m pretty sure the vice president, like the various secretaries and senior department officers, serves at the pleasure of the president and can be fired at will.

Personally, I’m perfectly happy with the idea that in the sad event that President Biden were determined no longer able to serve, the (Republican) Speaker of the House would have to shoulder his responsibilities in accordance with the US Constitution.

#18  I don't believe the 25th Amendment states of any way to remove a VP, just the president.

I also don't believe the VP serves as the pleasure of the president either. Way back when, the VP was a member of the opposition, who put aside his differences with the winner to serve the country.

At it stands I believe that barring death, grave medical impairment or impeachment, there is no way to remove Kamala as VP against her will.

And even if it gets to impeachment, maybe that don't get the votes needed and that also the votes needed for a replacement aren't there.

#19  I’m pretty sure the vice president, like the various secretaries and senior department officers, serves at the pleasure of the president and can be fired at will.

It seems I was wrong. It says here that because the vice president is generally elected to the position, only Congress can get rid of the VP. The only time the president can fire his VP is while they are candidates running for office. Once elected, the only way to get rid of the VP is if the VP dies, becomes incapacitated, or is impeached by Congress. Just like the president.

#20  Does congress have be involved, IF BIDEN JUST DECIDES his new vp running mate for 2024 is Obama?
Posted by: NN2N1 || 01/21/2024 20:24 Comments || Top||

#21  @20

No, but replacing Kamala has its own dangers, such as risking a rather large portion of his black and/or female base.

I don't believe Michelle Obama will choose to run, especially as a VP to Biden. The Obama's already have the money, power and prestige.

#22  My guess is the next months are going to be very interesting unless the Democrats are willing to risk an open National Convention in August.

#24  Joe can’t be taken out at will, because his mental capacity is degraded and everyone knows it. Technically, Kamala doesn’t even need an inauguration or oath. LBJ just did that for show and included Jackie because he was a total jerk. Their goal is to get to the convention without holding primaries so they can make a ticket without the interference of voters. For Joe to make it that far he has to be coherent at SOTU. I may even watch this year.

Top Haley aide Tyler Clarke worked for dark-money Biden donors who funneled $410M to Dems: report
[NY Post] Someone's been doing their Oppo
A top campaign aide to Nikki Haley worked as a lobbyist for a dark-money giant that funneled millions to Joe Biden and the Democrats in 2020, according to a report that drew fury from her GOP rivals Saturday.

Tyler Clark, Haley’s current New Hampshire state director, worked on behalf of the nonprofit Sixteen Thirty Fund in 2020, according to lobbying disclosure forms seen by the Washington Examiner.

The fund is one of a network of dark-money groups run by Arabella Advisers, a shadowy cash clearinghouse that collects millions from lefty billionaires like George Soros, Hansjörg Wyss, Bill Gates, and Pierre Omidyar and showers the money on progressive candidates and pressure groups.

The Sixteen Thirty Fund alone distributed $410 million in dark funding to Democrats in the last presidential election cycle, The Post has reported.

"Haley’s campaign is not only funded by Democrats — it’s run by Democrats, too!" Ron DeSantis’s campaign posted on X.

#1  Nothing says "Stupid Party™" like letting the other side's activists work for candidates alleging themselves to be Republicans, letting dem voters vote in Pub primaries and letting the most noxious RINOs who are not running serve as "the voice and conscience" of the party in the media.

#5  Haley is going to get beat like a rented red-headed stepchild in NH, which is the neverTrump crowd's "firewall." Her polling in SC looks even worse - familiarity breeds boocoo contempt in this case. I predict she forgoes the embarrassment of actually remaining in the contest until then. She'll still be on the ballot, but can blame the announcement of "suspending" her campaign for the final results.

Chip Roy: Why Are We Giving Money to Mayorkas then Go to the Cameras and Talk About Impeaching Him?
[Breitbart] Friday, during an appearance on FBN’s “Cavuto: Coast to Coast,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) questioned the wisdom of funding government under the direction of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas while at the same time calling for his impeachment.

“First of all, I just met with one of those mayors, a mayor that represents a city in the district I represent,” Roy said. “And I talk to people all the time about what they’re dealing with in Texas. And I can assure you they’re not excited about what they’re seeing coming out of the Senate and the White House. And with all respect to the president, who said, I don’t think there are any sticking points. He has no idea what’s in this bill. He doesn’t know what’s actually being discussed in any real granular detail. Frankly, we only know bits and pieces coming out of the Senate. We have seen some of it, and it doesn’t do the job.”

“Look, it’s not about just restoring Trump policies,” he continued. “We actually need to enforce existing law and make sure the law is very clear so that it cannot be violated like it’s currently being violated. So, you ensure you will detain, you will remove, or you will stay in Mexico. That’s what we did in H.R.2. It’s not complicated. As long as you release people — Mayorkas has released 85 to 90 percent of all the people they’re encountering. We know those are not true asylum seekers. They’re just people who want to come to this country. I don’t begrudge them that.”

“But as long as you allow all of those numbers to come, you will never stop the crisis,” Roy added. “Texas is left holding the bag. So, yes, I oppose it. And I also oppose Republicans funding it. That’s what I said on the floor of the House yesterday. Why are we giving more money to Alejandro Mayorkas while we go to the cameras and talk about impeaching him so we can score points in campaigns, rather than doing our job to use the power of the purse that James Madison articulated was our power to stop an out-of-control executive? So that’s what I think we ought to do
