Ex-Boyfriend Says Dr. Ford Coached Friend for Polygraph, Had No Fear of Flying
[Breitbart] A man who dated Brett Kavanaugh’s primary accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, for six years claims she had no fear of flying, no fear of small spaces or rooms with single exits, and once used her psychology training to prepare a friend for a polygraph examination, according to a Tuesday Fox News report.

In a sworn statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee dated Tuesday, the California man claims to have met the then-Christine Blasey "in 1989 or 1990," then had been romantically involved with her for about six years from 1992 to 1998. In that time, he claims to have witnessed Ford, then studying psychology, coach a close friend as she prepared for government administered polygraph exams. Fox News’s Shannon Bream posted a redacted version of the letter on Twitter:

Little wonder the Dems are pulling away from Dr. Ford.

#3  Like the ongoing Carter Page fiasco, it's the scriptwriters who should face 'consequences.' Ford appears to be little more than a feckless tool of the deep state.

#6  Even before the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings my level of skepticism toward sexual assault accusations was pretty high; but after witnessing the shit-show put on by the feces-flinging monkeys (i.e., the Democrats) in the Senate, that skepticism has been boosted into the stratosphere.

Rats, Ship:Trump-Mueller interview negotiations stall as 2 more prosecutors leave Russia probe
[FOX] Discussions between Special Counsel Robert Mueller's office and President Trump's legal team over the conditions of a possible presidential interview are ongoing, but have "not terribly advanced" from where they were a couple of weeks ago, a source familiar with the talks told Fox News Tuesday.

Also, The Associated Press reported that two prosecutors detailed to the Russia investigation for the past year are returning to their duties in other parts of the Justice Department. They join two other attorneys who left the team, assigned to investigate potential ties between Russia and the Trump campaign, over the summer.

Fox News' source said negotiations hit a snag when The New York Times reported on Sept. 21 that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein had discussed secretly recording Trump and enlisting Cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove the president from office. Rosenstein has called the Times report "inaccurate and factually incorrect" and at least one source has told Fox News that Rosenstein intended his comment about recording Trump to be sarcastic.

#1  If Trump outwaits Mueller, this witch hunt will disappear one and two at a time of its own weight. The funding for each position needs to disappear also so that some other bonehead can't be put in there who is a partisan hack.

#2  Mueller is dragging things on until the midterms. If the blue wave sweeps everything they'll grab whatever nonsense he has as proof. If not he'll declare he has nothing actionable and go away to write a book about how he was confounded at every turn from getting to the truth or some rot like that.
Posted by: rjschwarz || 10/03/2018 11:17 Comments || Top||

#3  Mueller ain't got squat. I still bet he releases some "preliminary" report that can be worded so it looks like there might have been collusion at some point with some people somewhere, but none of it can be collaborated at this point because it would ruin the current investigation.

It will provide just enough cover for demoncrats to run the last couple weeks on.

If they take the house, it is easy to gin up some charges for impeachment.
If they don't retake the house, expect the Mueller investigation to continue waddling on until it is put out of its misery.

Uncertain Timing for FBI Report, Cloture and Final Kavanaugh Vote
[WSJ] Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) on Tuesday repeated that the Senate would vote on Judge Brett Kavanaugh this week but provided no specifics, amid a complicated interplay with a reopened Federal Bureau of Investigation probe that is expected to be completed no later than Friday.

To confirm Judge Kavanaugh, Mr. McConnell must first set up a procedural vote, known as a cloture motion, which limits further debate. In order to get to that vote, Mr. McConnell must file for cloture and then wait an intervening day before holding the actual cloture vote, which requires a majority to pass. After that, senators would be permitted up to 30 hours of debate before they must cast a final vote on whether to confirm or reject Judge Kavanaugh.

For example, filing for cloture on a Tuesday would likely mean a cloture vote on Thursday, and would set up a final vote on Friday or on Saturday, depending on how much debate time is used and how late senators wish to remain in the chamber.

Mr. McConnell's plans to vote this week are occurring at the same time the FBI has been given a target date of Friday for the completion of all interviews.

If Mr. McConnell wants to speed up the process, he could schedule the first vote before senators have been able to see the results of the new FBI background check. That could create tension among rank-and-file lawmakers. Alternatively, it could put pressure on the FBI to complete its work before the target date, potentially undercutting the White House's stated goal of giving agents latitude to interview whomever they want.

One positive sign for Mr. McConnell is that Sen. Susan Collins (R., Maine), one of three GOP swing votes on the judge, said that she wouldn't object if Mr. McConnell got the votes rolling before the FBI background checks were completed. "I believe that the timeline that was played out anticipates that cloture would be filed," Ms. Collins said Tuesday.

But Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) said in a letter to Mr. McConnell that the FBI should brief the Senate on its findings at least 24 hours before the cloture vote. He also said it is "essential" that senators have access to the completed background investigation file and be able to ask questions about "what specific investigative steps were taken, what evidence was collected, and which witnesses were interviewed."
Attack the process. If successful, the results are meaningless. Btw,the Dems have *TOP* men available to critique said process:

Go Fund Me for Brett Kavanaugh's Family
This is a horrible way to treat a good man who has dedicated his life to public service. So many unethical people are giving unprovable 36 year old accusations the same weight as 6 FBI background checks, hundreds of hours of hearings and testimony under oath. It is disgraceful.

Update #8: Unfortunately, in the last day there have been a lot of horrible human beings smearing the judge and saying grotesque things in the comments. I don't want his family exposed to that and realistically, since I am the only person with access to the account, I cannot effectively moderate it 24x7. Also, after discussing this issue with GoFundMe, I was told that there is no option to allow only people that have donated to comment. With that in mind, I will have to turn the comments off. I hate to do that, but it seems like the best option. On the upside, GoFundMe did tell me that they can, "provide a spreadsheet of all the comments actual donors left before this point should they want to read those that are supportive. " So, if you want to leave a private comment, the judge's family will still see it.
File under funds for the good guys.

#1  $507,966 added to the possible millions from the defamation suits--not chump change for all the $hit Judge Kavanaugh had to put up with from a bunch of boneheaded radical left-wing idealogues bent on his destruction. (Not too bright ideologues at that).
