"90 percent of Americans are for a responsible background check for a gun, and you know what this Congress has done? Not voted on it, not brought it to the floor, not introduced a bill." John Walsh
Listen prick... there are already background checks on gun buys. After having your show of America's most wanted, you seriously think that more laws and background checks will keep criminals from getting weapons? You are dumber than you look.

I've never heard a flatworm say anything stupid. Plus they have a rudimentary nervous system!
Perhaps Crazy Uncle Joe could explain how tougher gun laws would improve the 14 killed, 84 wounded stat for Chicago over the weekend? (ok, so it was a long weekend)

The anti-illegal immigration protests Monday brought out new, first-time demonstrators and onlookers from many different backgrounds--from young enlisted Marines to legal immigrants from Germany, Mexico, and Central America.
All AMERICANS come to protest the importation of non-citizens who are illegal.

I read that the Feds were going to deploy riot police for this transfer; nothing confirmed, could be a game of telephone...or people went whoah the feds have riot teams? then I remembered Department of Weights and Measures.

I might be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised iff this issue of illegal immigrant children is more than NAFTA, OWG NAU ETC. starting in the Year 2015, but is actually covertly a massive ruse or cover story for POTUS Obama = USA to have an PCorrect-Deniable "good excuse(s)" to unilater N-O-T fight a major mil conflict wid Iran, Russia, andor China, etc. in the very near future, espec vee CHINA IN EAST ASIA-PACIFIC, IN DEFENSE OF US STRATEGIC INTERESTS OR SOVEREIGN TERRITORIES LET ALONE US OVERSEAS ALLIES???
FYI as per FREEREPUBLIC, HOT AIR ARTIC = claims that up to 300,000 people [adults] from Central America are planning to sneak into the US.

The guy can afford a high-dollar watch. He knocked over the Mosul bank for nearly a 1/2 billion dollars. The watch won't do him much good if he gets drone-zapped or someone decides to collect the $10M bounty the U.S. has on the guy.

Funny thing about most of the Arabs. They're pretty much conformist in traditional dress (and Baghdadi's is more or less traditional.) But it's the accoutrements that designate status, like watches, pens, rings, etc.
But, hey, congrats, Abu! You have gone from jihadi to caliph almost overnight. You are now qualified for Rantburg's Page Six, the Politix section. Now you can associate with the likes of al-Maliki, Assad, al-Sisi, Khamenei, Erdogan, Sarkozy, Xi, Putin, King Abdullah and Obama. Don't let anybody give you any crap if you wanna wear a cheap bauble on your wrist. You've earned it. This is a freaking big deal, you bloody bastard. Cheers!

This is the great media counter-offensive to discredit jihad cool? Maybe keeping track of time without sporting a smart/cell phone is good for business, and business seems to be going good.
The better question is whether this becomes like wearing a pink bracelet in October.
"More than half of companies (56%) increased employees' share of health care premiums or co-payments for doctors' visits in 2013, and 59% of employers say they intend to do the same in 2014." - USA Today
And
"The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit is expected to rule any day now in a lawsuit that aims to block the law's insurance subsidies in more than half the country. If the challengers ultimately prevail, the Affordable Care Act's complex framework could begin to unravel as millions of people lose financial assistance." - National Journal

Rate increases will be kept to a minimum so long as ObamaCare delivers reinsurance to cover losses. Reinsurance is being lowered incrementally over the next few years. Sort of like slowing boiling the frog.

That means that premiums will go up in the fall in order to cover the added expense of the higher-risk enrollments — and that has the Obama administration spin team working extra hard this summer to cover their rear ends just before the midterms:
The Donks deserve any losses that come their way in 2014 and 2016. Shame on them for foisting this Obamanation on the American people. The sheer arrogance of Pelosi saying you have to pass it to read it [ACA] was astounding and should have been enough to get her tossed out of office. Unfortunately for Americans, so many Congressmen/women did exactly that [It may be that some of them that can't read]. Freedom suffered for the American people.

Well then get ready to LOL when all these illegals get deemed citizens, opening them to the IRS tax system, which requires them to have health insurance, which they cannot afford, so qualify for so many deductions, some of which yet to be interpreted by the new HHS, they actually get paid to have health insurance.

IF I were running a US company I'd make any payment for employee health insurance bundled with a ridiculously personal-data filled bedroom-habit enquiring form and say it's to mitigate hiring risks and make sure we're meeting the needs of our employees...
If the government says Business needs to be in your bedroom then they should be allowed to ask a few questions too.
