[BabylonBee] A group of rebellious American patriots did their duty for God and country today by dumping Meghan Markle and Prince Harry into Boston Harbor. The protest, dubbed "Boston Tea Party Part 2: Rebel Even Harder," saw American protesters seize the royal couple and dump them right into the sea.
"The British are coming? Not on our watch!" they cried as they hauled the couple to the harbor and threw them in. "Royalty overboard!"
"From time to time, the tree of liberty must be refreshed with the cries of British royalty as we dunk them in the harbor!" said a spokesperson for the protesters. "It was far past time for us to throw more dumb, uppity British people into the water. America!"
"Help! I'm a brave woman of color and I'm being oppreeeeeeessed!" Markle cried as she was thrown into the harbor. The rowdy colonists cheered as the couple went under, proud of themselves for once again demonstrating that America is the best goshdarn country on earth.
Prince Harry was asked for comment but said he had to check with Markle first before he's allowed to respond.
[BEE] U.S. — Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has officially reversed the COVID vaccine requirement for the military, as it is no longer needed now that all the Conservatives have been weeded out.
"This vaccine was a great success in helping us eliminate anyone who valued freedom, thought critically, or voted Republican," said Austin. "Now that those pesky conservatives have been forcibly removed from our military, we can finally move forward in our sacred mission of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion around the world! Also, bombing kids in Yemen. Can't forget that."
Authorities at the Pentagon are now confident they have a completely obedient, sufficiently woke fighting force capable of any mission, as long as the mission doesn't include prolonged, strenuous activity which seems to be causing people's hearts to explode for some reason. "Our military has never been stronger!" said Austin as he left for his weekly blood clot-removal procedure at the hospital.
At publishing time, the Navy had also started playing Elton John 24/7 on bases and ships to weed out the rest of the straight males.

Pakistain has been struggling with the same economic, political, and terrorism-based problems for the past 75 years.

...There's several excellent websites out there that all end up making the same point: we had literal rings of steel surrounding this country and Canada. Statistically some bombers were going to make it through, but between the Nikes and the interceptors, being a Russian bomber crew member was suicidal at best.
And I'm not able to watch the video right now, but I'll be willing to bet it doesn't address a major bee in McNamara's bonnet: the last generations of missiles were to a surprising extent dual capable.
They could kill bombers AND incoming warheads. (More of a happy accident than by design, but we were getting skin-to-skin hits with Nike-Zeus and Nike -Hercules; knocking down warheads would have been comparatively simple. The later Sprint and Spartan missiles were designed from the start to kill ICBMs and warheads, and they worked.)
No way in Hell Robert S. McNamara was going to allow us to defend ourselves.

Not that the average city councilor, let alone the citizens, in Chicago knew that nuke warheads were loaded on those suckers along the Lake Shore Battery.
