With all respect g(r)omgoru, the Wednesday, January 7, 2015 article PC Hacking Getting Worse by Donald Sensing is much better and useful to me. I didn't realize a computer could be turned into a 40lb paper weight is such short order and cellphones the same. Good site g(r)omgoru Thank you.
The lead:
[Vice] On a warm fall day in South Dallas, ten revolutionaries dressed in kaffiyehs and ski masks jog the perimeter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park bellowing "No more pigs in our community!" Military discipline is in full effect as the joggers respond to two former Army Rangers in desert-camo brimmed hats with cries of "Sir, yes, sir!" The Huey P. Newton Gun Club is holding its regular Saturday fitness-training and self-defense class. Men in Che fatigues run with weight bags and roll around on the grass, knife-fighting one another with dull machetes. "I used to salute the fucking flag!" the cadets chant. "Now I use it for a rag!"
"A knife changes the whole game," one of the drill sergeants, who goes by the name Chief, explains, demonstrating how to perform a slash-and-stab maneuver on the torso of a wide-eyed girl in her 20s. A panhandler wanders up from the street. He is about to ask for spare change but then becomes interested. "What is this? Self-defense? That's cool." A pack of black bikers throw up their fists as they roar by. More at the link
Black Police Chief, Black District Attorney, Black Police Chief of the Transit System Police, Hispanic Sheriff.
Is is just a continuation of Black on Black violence only now at the official level? No.
Just as in Ferguson, it is choom gangs strong arming the general public with intimidation and getting into riot mode when they get shot when assaulting the police response.
But if the US continues to spiral down into third world status, you just have to hope that they don't get religion and go ISIS on various regions of the US.

Expansion of third world (non-reciprocal i.e. entitlement driven, and tribal (such as the current ignore black criminality movement)) is at the expense of civilisation.
Most leftists no-longer try to sell the lie by claiming "all cultures are equal".

Kool. Make them the reservation's new Apache Police. Mark off the res's boundry and leave them to 'take care of their own'. Just put the natives on notice that if they 'jump the reservation', their raiding parties will draw a lot of unwanted attention, usually in the form of those militarized law enforcement departments.

The question that came to mind as I read the article and looked at the pictures was, how many of those guns were legally purchased by people with proper gun permits? The Black Panthers, old or new, are not known for law-abiding behaviour, after all. On the other hand, they clearly are being taught good trigger discipline, which is a good thing, I suppose.

"No longer will we let the pigs slaughter our brothers and sisters and not say a damn thing about it," the leader answered back. "Black power! Black power! Black power! Black power!"
How do you feel about blacks killing blacks. That is, by far, larger problem in your communities.
You might re-think calling your club The Huey P. Newton Gun Club.
On August 22, 1989, Newton was fatally shot on Center Street in the Lower Bottoms neighborhood of West Oakland by 24-year-old BGF member and drug dealer Tyrone Robinson shortly after Newton left a crack house. Robinson was convicted of the murder in 1991 and sentenced to 32 years in prison for the crime, wiki Black on black crime.
The leftists (Obama, De Blasio, Sharpton) have done much to fan the flames of racism and violence in this country.

...how many of those guns were legally purchased by people with proper gun permits?
You don't need a permit for long guns. Just have to pass the background check. Of course, there is no telling how many of these people are eligible to purchase firearms, undoubtedly some of these rifles will be stolen.
As a Texan living in the DFW area, I can tell you these folks are walking a dangerous line and will be shot down at the first provocation.

From the pics I've seen, they're not just "carrying" rifles, but brandishing them. If the rifle is in your hands, not slung, you're brandishing,

Not trying to draw fire here, but how are these guys different from the unorganized militias Holder fears, I mean other than race?

"The complete agenda involves going into our communities and educating our people on federal, state, and local gun laws. We want to stop fratricide, genocide—all the 'cides."
I'm good with that. But they need to get their facts straight on Zimmerman and Brown.
The surviving leadership of the original Black Panther Party has also repudiated the movement for inflammatory and anti-Semitic rhetoric. Bobby Seale, a founder, speculated to me that this new incarnation of his group is a front organization funded by right-wing money, "maybe by the Koch Brothers."
Not the right, and certainly not the Kochs. You might check the WWP, though.
And find out why the Ferguson police department is mostly white, and do something about that. Then, clean up Ferguson without any excuses.
A Hokie prof confuses militias and gangs, but inadvertently described what may be happening with the recent announcement by the Black Panthers that they will start patrolling their neighborhoods in Dallas.
The conclusions, but read the whole thing:
[WashingtonPost] For states mobilizing militia forces in counterinsurgency, then, the crucial lesson is to do more by doing less. Instead of showering militias with resources and training to ensure their dependence on the state and compliance with directives, it is often better to encourage self-sufficiency and preserve and deepen local roots as much as possible. Of course, as Kimberly Marten argues, relying on tribal networks and clan-based norms to check the behavior of armed groups is far from perfect. Instead of fostering egalitarian and inclusive notions of national citizenship, it reinforces patterns of male dominance and exclusivist kinship relationships. Yet, in the crucible of war and insurgencies, these relationships and the discipline they produce may be the best that can be hoped for. What Stephen Krasner and Merilee Grindle call “good enough” governance of security by armed non-state actors is a worthy goal when the alternative is continued bloodshed.
My own research suggests that militias tend to emerge when states lack the coercive and administrative capacity to centralize power and instead must co-opt local powerbrokers, tribal leaders and warlords. Dependence on militias, then, becomes a self-perpetuating cycle; institutional weakness begets more weakness, necessitating continuing commitments to militia mobilization. Learning to work with those that are actually capable of providing security and protection to local communities is better than waiting in vain for strong and responsive states to arrive. One of the academics quoted in the WaPo piece, Goran Peic published this, which describes government supplied militia groups.
It was the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) that unleashed the evil Saul Alinsky on an unsuspecting Western society, from Chicago. Satan-loving Alinsky, whose ideals motivate both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to this day, was going nowhere until the USCCB took him under their robes and financed him.
With the USCCB’s well-documented history of financing devil-worshipping Alinsky patently ignored by the mainstream media, USCCB today is using its favourite charity to fund groups advocating the Michael Brown-Eric Garner protests, including burning and looting in Ferguson, Mo and the same ones that led to last month’s police officer “execution-style” killings in Brooklyn, New York.
Catholic church goers are hit up at least twice a year to donate to the politically-charged USCCB’s favourite charity, the innocuous-sounding Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), which rakes in mega millions a year.
At last count, CCHD collection was being taken up in diocesan parishes across the U.S. in November. CCHD has invested over $4 million in 2014, in immigrant communities across the United States. (USCCB.org).
Everyone should now be fully aware that being far more immersed in politics than prayer, the USCCB Committee on Migration have long been waving the cheerleaders’ pom pom for President Barack Obama’s Executive Amnesty fiat.

First, this is about the CCHD - not the USCCB. And our parish does NOT participate in the CCHD collection.
Second, this is using such loaded language and sensationlistic terms it sounds like a pure propaganda piece by Catholic-hating fundamentalists.
So beware this is a massive amount of spin on a known issue inside the Catholic community, one that has been and is being fought by many of the Bishops. As the Bommers finally age out, the CCHD is seeing less and less favor with the current batch of bishops and cardinals appointed by John-Paul-II and Benedict-XVI. The Francis I bishops remain yet to be seen but likely do lean topward the discredited collectivist theology. Lord willing, he gets called home soon, we've had enough.
