#1 Liberia, Guinea, and Mali are improving. However, Sierra Leone has had a few hundred new cases each week over the last month. While that is probably a sign that the epidemic is plateauing, which is an improvement, it is still a lot. It would only take a couple cases to get out into other big dirty cities for this to become a disaster.

Hopefully as you suggest, this plague will abate.
