Ozzy Osbourne vowed to never take acid again after talking to a horse for one hour
I do that at least once a day!
[PAGESIX] Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne revealed he once promised himself to never take acid again after finding himself in an hour-long conversation with a horse in the middle of a field.
The horse couldn't make out what he was saying.
The former Black Sabbath frontman, 73, said he was left astonished when the horse apparently talked back to him — telling the rocker to "f—k off" at the end of their apparent exchange.
At least the response was appropriate.
"At that time in America, people were very fond of lacing your drinks with acid," the "War Pigs" singer told the Daily Star. "I didn’t care."
"I mean, like, I never even noticed."
"I used to swallow handfuls of tabs at a time. The end of it came when we got back to England. I took 10 tabs of acid and then went for a walk in a field."
"Actually, I flew."
"I ended up standing there talking to this horse for about an hour," Osbourne, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, remembered.

Dozens attend military funeral for St. Louis veteran with no known family
[SLP-D] SOUTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY — Glenn Emerson Cook had no known family to lay him to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Tuesday, but he was far from alone.

Roughly 60 people, including fellow military veterans and local volunteers, honored Cook at a funeral service with full military honors.

They knew little about Cook, 70, of Olivette, other than that he was an Army veteran who fought in the Vietnam War. Calvin Whitaker, who owns Michel Funeral Home in St. Louis, said no one was even able to locate a picture of him.
Deplorables in action
But they knew that one of Cook’s last acts was to donate part of his estate to The BackStoppers Inc., an organization that supports families of first responders killed in the line of duty.

Backstoppers in turn contacted Whitaker, whose small family-run funeral home has held funerals for nine homeless U.S. veterans with no known families in the last six years.

Missouri school district reinstates corporal punishment after parents called for their kids to be spanked with a wooden paddle instead of being disciplined with suspensions
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Long line of volunteers.
  • Cassville R-IV School District Superintendent Merlyn Johnson, 47, claimed parents asked to bring back corporal punishment

  • 'There had been a conversation with parents and there had been requests from parents for us to look into it,' he said

  • The decades-old policy went into effect in June and it is an opt-in only policy, allowing parents to decide if their child can be hit at school

  • Johnson said the punishment will only be used as a last resort and it will not inflict bodily harm or injury to children

  • Younger students could receive one to two spanks, while older children could receive up to three

  • Corporal punishment is still legal in 19 states across the US, including Missouri. It is mainly found in Southern states

Kim Jong Un builds EIGHT new luxury mansions 'so enemies planning to kill him won't know where to strike'
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] We have plenty of missiles — no need to give up hitting all of them at once.
  • Eight incredible properties have been built in Kim's Ch'angkwangsan Compound in the heart of Pyongyang

  • Expert on North Korea said the move would serve as an extra line of defence against assassination attempts

  • The paranoid tactic harks back to Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China, who was said to sleep in a different place every night to elude attempts on his life

  • Kim is believed to have several similar residences throughout the country which are readied when he travels

  • Meanwhile North Korean citizens struggle to access basic services like energy, healthcare and even food

Nightclub Bans Staring
[Breitbart] Call the woke police. A nightclub in Sydney, Australia, has banned patrons from staring at each other unless the person gazing on another has been granted specific, prior verbal consent.
"Tell your boobs to quit lookin' at my eyes!"
Failure to comply can result in ejection from the newly declared "safe space" and local law enforcement being called.
"Into the paddy wagon wit' yez, mate!"
The venue has also discouraged people visiting if their "sole purpose" was to meet someone to "pick up."
"Wanna come up and see my etchings, bebby?"
Club 77 is in the very heart of Australia’s biggest city and used staring as an example of an action that would be in contravention of its new safety and harassment policy.
"Is there anything that's allowed?"
"No."
"So why should we come?"
"To bring money."

The policy was made public earlier this month in an Instagram post with the club adding "safety officers" in pink vests would patrol the venue to strictly enforce the no-staring mandate.
"Bouncer! Over here! He was starin' at her tiddies!"
Club 77 said it had updated its rules because it had recently, "attracted some people who do not share our values and ethics when it comes to club culture."
"Some people were in here havin' fun!"
"Damn them!"

Next, daydreaming?

Europe
Winter of Discontent: Germany to Implement Energy Rationing Amid Fears of Gas Riots
[Breitbart] As officials in the country express their fears about future gas riots this winter, the German government has announced a host of new energy rationing rules that will come into effect from next Thursday.

In what appears to be the latest attempt to avoid energy shortages this winter, the German government is to implement restrictions limiting the use of energy in the country.

Ministers appear to be hoping that the rationing efforts will help reduce the risk of energy shortages this coming winter, with a number of bigwigs now openly fearful of a future of public unrest and gas riots should people be left unable to adequately heat their homes.

According to a report by Stern, limits on how hot public buildings and offices can be heated to are to come into effect on September 1st, with such buildings now being legally restricted to no more than 19 degrees Celsius (~66 degrees Fahrenheit).

Public buildings will also no longer be allowed to heat their hallways — though some exceptions are to be given for the likes of hospitals — while tap water used for washing hands will also no longer be allowed to be heated using a boiler or instant heating device.

‘The End Of Abundance': Macron Warns Of ‘Great Upheaval' As Europe's Economy Implodes
[DailyCaller] President Emmanuel Macron warned that the French would face severe food and energy shortages at a cabinet meeting Wednesday as winter approaches and skyrocketing energy prices have crippled Europe’s economy.

Macron told the cabinet that "freedom has a cost," referring to the ongoing war in Ukraine that has inflicted dire consequences on global food and energy prices, Reuters reported. The French government faces a decision to renew electricity and gas price caps that expire at the end of 2022, as winter looms, inflation soars and natural gas from Russia falls to a trickle, raising fears that Russia will shut off gas flows altogether.

They may have boned themselves play Joe Biden's War Game. This EU devaluing; is that from pretend money printed for defense contractors?

#9  We should pay attention to what's happening in Europe. This could get very bad in the States.

The US will be fine from a food and energy point of view. Costs will go up and you won't be able to get your dried figs as easily, but we'll be ok other than that. We have uber productive farmland and waterways to travel on along with fracking for our energy needs. Europe doesn't have that. France is the best country in Europe to weather the storm... IF they start leaning on their old colonies in Africa for energy.

This is the breakdown of the old global order set by the Americans that allowed globalization. Now we go back to the Empire days where you tried to keep most of your production and food "in house" in areas you controlled. Most wars were fought over those resources. The US will be in a good position to bribe countries that aren't food secure with their abundance to do what they want. And we'll have a navy to back it up.

#20  BREAKING NEWS!
President Putin arrived at the Kremlin an hour ago for an emergency meeting of the Security Council and made an important statement for the whole country:

In connection with the ongoing supply of weapons to the Kyiv regime, we have made a serious decision. Back on February 24, the West was warned by me that it was coming for interfering in our special operation and helping the Nazi regime. Until now, in Ukraine, only an insignificant part of our military contingent has been pulled together.
August 27 will begin a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. With the full force of the Russian Federation Army.
