At least eight people are dead following a series of shootings at an Atlanta area massage parlor and two spas. Police said a 21-year-old man has been taken into custody after a short car pursuit.
They believe he opened fire in a massage parlor in Cherokee County on Tuesday, killing four people and injuring one. "No happy ending for you!"
Authorities have also linked the suspect to two separate shootings at two spas later in the day, which were across the street from each other in nearby Buckhead. These shootings left another four people dead. All eight victims were Asian women.

Emily Rose Grover, 17, and Laura Rose Carroll, 50, were arrested on Monday in Pensacola after Sherlocks uncovered their alleged plot to tamper with the election at Tate High School so that the teen would win homecoming queen last fall.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) said it opened the investigation in November after officials with the Escambia County School District (ECSD) reported that hundreds of student accounts had been accessed without authorization.
Investigators alleged that Carroll, an assistant principal at Bellview Elementary School, which is part of ECSD, used her credentials to break into the accounts and cast votes for Emily, who ultimately won the title.

[NYP] An order of Catholic priests has pledged $100 million in reparations to the descendants of people whom they owned as slaves during the early decades of the American republic.
The announcement by leaders of the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States is one of the largest initiatives of its kind by any institution, and the largest thus far by the church, the New York Times reported on Monday.
The order has committed to raising the full sum in three to five years, with $15 million deposited in a trust already, reported the Guardian.
All of the money raised by the Jesuits will eventually go to the newly created Descendants Truth & Reconciliation Foundation, which was established in partnership with a group of descendants.
The Rev. Timothy P. Kesicki, president of the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States, told the Times that this is the beginning of "a very serious process of truth and reconciliation."
Kesicki called the history of Jesuit slaveholdings "shameful," adding that it’s "been taken off the dusty shelf, and it can never be put back."
