Ukrainian Perspective: Invasion of Ukraine: November 26th 2023
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Worth noting, korrespondent.net has compiled its Invasion of Ukraine series into separate months, beginning May 9th, 2023. Linked in the title.

[Korrespondent] 20:14 Russian public pages report a strong explosion and fire at the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant, where heavy military equipment could also be repaired. The Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that “a transformer caught fire.”

18:29 During a night drone attack on Russian regions, about 35 UAVs were launched at targets in Moscow and the region, as well as in Tula and Smolensk. All these objects are military or related to military production, writes the UP, citing an intelligence source. “The actions are purely symmetrical and a sign that the Russian Federation should think about the consequences. The war must be fought with the military in combat areas. Strikes against civilians and outside the combat zone will not go unanswered,” the publication’s interlocutor said.

17:42 The war could again expand beyond the eastern and southern borders of Ukraine if Russia continues to increase weapons production and improve technologically with the help of its allies, and assistance to Ukraine from its partners decreases, said the commander of the Joint Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Sergei Naev, in an interview with ABC News.

“We understand that there is now a war of resources. The Russian Federation receives its resources with the help of the “axis of evil” - this is North Korea, Iran. And we, with the help of our partners, receiving air defense systems from them, are opposing the Russian Federation with their resources. We must understand "that cutting aid will really hit our defense capability. But we will fight with what we have," Naev emphasized.

14:50 British intelligence reports that Russia has likely moved S-400 missile systems to Ukraine from Kaliningrad, which it considers one of its most strategically important regions as it borders NATO member states on three sides.

12:58 The head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Mikhail Fedorov, hinted that the night drone attack on Moscow and other Russian cities is an operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Drone Army:

11:39 Switzerland will provide 100 million francs (about 103 million euros) for humanitarian demining in Ukraine, the country's President Alain Berset said.

11:32 The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly tried to attack with S-200 anti-aircraft missiles converted to hit ground targets. Air defense systems detected two such missiles and allegedly destroyed them in the air over the Sea of Azov.

11:20 The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that in the morning four more “Ukrainian drones” were allegedly destroyed by air defense systems - over the Bryansk, Smolensk and Tula regions. Meanwhile, Russian public pages write that, according to one version, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Tula with drones made like a “flying wing,” which is why they look like “martyrs.” Experts are currently figuring out what kind of device this is. So far it is known that it has nothing to do with UJ-22 and Beavers.

11:18 A group of “large countries” of the European Union is seeking a relaxation of the 12th package of sanctions against the Russian Federation, Bloomberg writes, citing sources. The agency does not name the countries themselves. It is known that we are talking about restrictions that will prohibit the purchase of some key goods, such as semiconductors, through third-party intermediary companies. These countries have doubts about the implementation of the plan and fear risks to European products, so they want to reduce the list of goods.

09:24 In the Donetsk region over the past 24 hours, two people were killed as a result of Russian shelling - in Voskresenka. Another person in the area was injured, the OVA said.

08:40 At night, air defense destroyed eight of the nine Shahed attack UAVs with which Russia attacked from the south-eastern direction (Primorsko-Akhtarsk), the Air Force command reported.

08:29 The General Staff announced the estimated losses of the Russian Federation as of the morning of November 26:

  • personnel - about 324,830 (+1070) people,

  • tanks - 5513 (+11),

  • armored combat vehicles - 10,279 (+16),

  • artillery systems - 7874 (+23),

  • MLRS - 907 (+2),

  • air defense systems - 597 (+1),

  • aircraft - 323 (+0),

  • helicopters - 324 (+0),

  • UAV of operational-tactical level - 5901 (+93),

  • cruise missiles - 1565 (+0),

  • ships/boats - 22 (+0),

  • submarines - 1 (+0),

  • automotive equipment and tank trucks - 10,288 (+29),

  • special equipment - 1113 (+1).

08:12 The leader of the “DPR” Denis Pushilin said that at night Ukraine attacked the energy system, part of the territory of the “republic” was de-energized. Blackouts were reported in Donetsk, Makeevka, Mariupol, and Starobeshevsky district.

07:56 Over the past 24 hours, 58 military clashes took place at the front, the General Staff reported in its morning report . In particular, the Defense Forces repelled 23 attacks in the Avdeevsky direction: in the areas of Stepnoy, Avdeevka, Pervomaisky and south of Novokalinovo, Donetsk region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks near Sinkovka and Ivanovka, Kharkov region; on Bakhmutsky - near Kleshcheevka and Andreevka, Donetsk region; on Maryinsky - in the Marinka and Novomikhailovka districts of the Donetsk region; on Shakhtarsky - south of Zolotaya Niva and east of Staromayorsky, Donetsk region; in Zaporozhye - near Rabotino, Zaporozhye region. The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Liman direction.

At the same time, the Defense Forces continue their offensive in the Melitopol direction and assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, and in the Kherson direction they hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnieper.

07:44 The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that Russian air defense systems allegedly shot down 11 “Ukrainian drones” in the Central Federal District at night, and nine more drones were destroyed in the morning. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claims that some of the downed UAVs were flying towards the capital. In the Moscow region, in three cases there was damage to buildings on the ground, but there were no deaths or injuries. Moscow airports Vnukovo and Domodedovo suspended operations.

The Kaluga governor reported that at night “Ukrainian drones” were shot down in the Dzerzhinsky and Zhukovsky districts, preliminary, there were no casualties and no destruction of infrastructure. Two drones were shot down in the Tula region, one of them, having lost control, crashed into an apartment building in Tula, the regional governor said. In the Bryansk region, four UAVs were shot down, preliminary, there were no casualties or destruction, the head of the region said.

Deserter country: Ukrainian Armed Forces massively refuse to die for the West and Zelensky
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Kirill Strelnikov

[RIA] For the whole day now, the Runet has been burning and social networks are sweating with rain - millions of professional analysts have finally realized that the Kiev regime, it turns out, is controlled from the outside. The leader of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arakhamia, in an interview with the 1+1 TV channel, said that the conflict could have been ended overnight back in 2022, but then-British Prime Minister Boris Johnson ordered Ukraine to continue fighting.

According to Arakhamia, who was a member of the Ukrainian delegation at the negotiations with Russia in Istanbul, all the points have already been synchronized, and the documents have been signed. The main condition for ending the conflict - fixing the complete neutrality of Ukraine and guaranteeing its non-entry into NATO while respecting all the rights and freedoms of the Russian-speaking population on the actual territory of Ukraine - was agreed upon.

All that was missing was Zelensky’s signature.

But Boris Johnson came to Kiev and insisted on abandoning all agreements, adding with a smile: “Let’s just fight.”

It would be completely unexpected and surprising if it were surprising and unexpected. But if we remember that Kyiv has not made and is not making a single significant decision without the go-ahead of Western curators, then there is no sensation in Arakhamia’s revelations from the word “at all.”

The gang in Kiev, without blinking an eye, signs any laws and any orders, drafts of which are sent from the USA , NATO and the EU , including increasingly stringent measures in order to send more and more “fresh meat” to the front.

But neither Zelensky, nor Zaluzhny, nor Biden, Stoltenberg and Borrell will be able to do anything at all if the Ukrainians, as one, refuse to fight.

And it seems that this is where big problems await both the West and Zelensky.

We are no longer surprised by the flow of reports in the Russian media that every day more and more Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers are surrendering. If we leave aside the fact that all these soldiers, according to them, are cooks, drivers, laundresses and typists, then the leitmotif in their heartbreaking stories is the same: “we were betrayed,” “we were abandoned,” and “we were deceived.” According to the testimony of prisoners, the mood in the Ukrainian Armed Forces is somewhere between deep depression and despair, and what stops them from orderly columns with white flags is guaranteed execution by barrage detachments, mostly consisting of foreign mercenaries.

This could easily be attributed to Putin’s furious and merciless propaganda, but the opposite side admits this itself - because it is no longer possible to hide the scale of the disaster.

Just yesterday, one of the outposts of Western public opinion, the Financial Times, published an alarmist article with an “encouraging” message: “In Ukraine, there is low morale and a shortage of military personnel, no one wants to go to the military registration and enlistment office on the eve of winter.” And this clearly contradicts Zelensky’s loud statements that “there are queues at the military registration and enlistment offices in the country of people who want to go to the front” and that our armor is strong, and our Bradleys are fast.

Moreover, none other than the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine recently disseminated information about the increase in the number of deserters in the Armed Forces of Ukraine by tens of times. In just nine months of this year, 4,638 soldiers fled from the Ukrainian army, and only 10,940 remained. And these are already greatly reduced and embellished figures. According to Ukrainian officials, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing great problems with replenishing dwindling reserves, as Ukrainians avoid mobilization by any means or desert.

The “Ukrainian project,” like any other, is perceived by the Anglo-Saxons as a purely investment project, that is, the “exhaust” from it should be greater than the investment. And they were the first to understand that it was completely pointless to pump billions of dollars into Ukraine and send leviathan caravans with weapons and equipment there if Ukrainians began to wake up en masse from the bravura propaganda and refuse to fight.

At the official level, there is still dust from Zelensky’s approving pat on the back, and all Western leaders as one habitually swear their eternal support for Ukraine and that nothing has changed: you and I, here’s your parabellum.

But in fact, the closing of the shop and the reconciliation of debit and credit are already in full swing.

For some reason, European shell factories are not starting up, magical American fighters are not being destroyed, hundreds of billions of dollars are turning into tens of millions. And information is already reaching us that the NATO countries have decided in a Jesuitical way, that is, softly and tenderly, to force Ukraine to a peace agreement with Russia by “changing the quantity and quality of supplies” (read - you give up yourself, bitte schön, otherwise it’s awkward for us).

Putin's propaganda again? Perhaps you just need to understand how she got into the same Financial Times, which writes in black and white: “The West is tired of supporting Ukraine because of its reluctance to make peace.”

We are far from thinking that Ukraine and the West will collapse by the New Year. By collapsing the money, the West will, of course, try to cause us maximum harm, and the corrupt leadership of Ukraine will try to stay in power for as long as possible and send as many Ukrainians to death as possible.

But one thing is clear: in the collective unconscious of Ukrainian society, an inoperable breakdown has clearly and irrevocably emerged, which will inexorably expand, and this will simply accelerate our inevitable victory.

Human rights activists demanded the release of Hasanli and Vagifgyzy
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] The International Association of Human Rights Defenders demanded that the Azerbaijani authorities release the leaders of the Abzas Media publication, as well as other arrested journalists and activists. The court has set a date for considering complaints against the arrests of Ulvi Hasanli and Sevinj Vagifgizi, lawyers said.

As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, the arrest of the director of the online publication Abzas Media Ulvi Hasanli (also referred to in the media as Hasanli) is related to the publication's anti-corruption investigations and contradicts Azerbaijan's obligations as a member of the Council of Europe, three PACE rapporteurs indicated in a joint statement on November 23 and called for the release Hasanli and his colleague Sevinj Vagifgyzy. Accusations against journalists of the publication of smuggling are implausible, Azerbaijani human rights activists confirmed.

10:11 Frontline summary on the morning of November 26, 2023:

In the Kherson-Crimean direction, the Russian Armed Forces, after artillery shelling, managed to push back the Ukrainian marines from the forest belt in Krynki. Under the blows of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Belozerka, Kherson, Antonovka, Prydneprovsky, Poniatovka, Tyaginka, Lvov, Kazatsky, Berislav, Novoberislav and Dudchany. RF Armed Forces - in Aleshki, Poima, Peschanivka, Podstepnoe, Kazachi Lagery, Korsunka, Dnepryanakh, Novaya Kakhovka, Kakhovka and Bolshaya Lepetikha.

On the Donetsk front, Russian troops, supported by long-range weapons, attacked at Novomikhailovka, Marinka and Pervomaisky. No success. Similar actions from the Yasinovatskaya fork to Avdeevka led to advancement. Insignificant in depth, but important tactically.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are having problems in the industrial zone here. At the Avdievka coke plant, Ukrainian troops repelled attacks. Like Stepnoye (not to be confused with the settlements of the same name in the Zaporozhye and Ugledar directions).

At the same time, Russian artillery and aviation worked closely against them. Also under attack are the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Severny (a settlement west of Avdievka), Tonenky, Orlovka, Keramika, New York and Yuzhny. Russian ones - in Donetsk, Opytny, Kamenka, the village of Krasnogorovka and Gorlovka.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian Armed Forces, with the support of artillery and an armored group, attacked in the Kleshcheevka area. We took up new positions. The heights near the village are still behind Ukrainian troops. Russian long-range weapons attacked the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Andreevka, Ivanovsky, Bogdanovka, Fedorovka, Pereezdny, Vesyol (a settlement northwest of Soledar), Vyemka and Sporny.

09:39 The criminal Kiev regime continues to fire at the civilian infrastructure of settlements on the left bank of the Kherson region, yesterday during the day the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired from cannon artillery:

-- n.p. Novye Lagerya six rounds;

-- n.p. Golaya Pristan seven rounds;

-- n.p. Krynki 26 rounds;

-- n.p. Alyosha eight rounds;

-- n.p. Obryvka of five rounds.

During the night, the Kiev regime continued to shell civilian infrastructure in the village. Novaya Kakhovka, n.p. Kakhovka, n.p. Podstepnoye, n.p. Obryvka, n.p. Aleshki, n.p. Dnepryany, n.p. Krynki, firing a total of 35 rounds from cannon artillery.

Civilian casualties and destruction of infrastructure are being determined.

09:12 At night, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to launch a massive attack on the DPR’s energy system, said the head of the region, Denis Pushilin.

According to Pushilin, as a result, some cities and regions of the republic were left without electricity, and a number of boiler houses were not supplied with heat.

In some settlements, power supply has already been restored, and work continues, he added.

08:47 In the DPR over the past 24 hours, three civilians were injured from artillery attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including boy born 2012 in Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk, Yasinovataya.

Two thirds of the artillery attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was recorded in the Gorlovka direction. The Ukrainian Armed Forces used 155mm cannon artillery, often with cluster warheads, and MLRS rockets to attack civilian infrastructure.

08:12 Personnel destruction of the 100mm Rapier cannon by the Lancet

Ukrainian militants fired from an 100mm MT-12 anti-tank gun. After the shooting, they tried to disguise it, but this did not help them. The weapon was disabled.

08:02 Summary on the morning of November 26, 2023:

The Russian Armed Forces carried out combined attacks at night on the enemy’s rear with “Geraniums” and artillery weapons. Explosions were reported at the Mirgorod airfield in the Poltava region, as well as in the Kyiv and Cherkasy regions. An important event was the liberation of the industrial zone in the south of the Avdeevsky direction. The enemy has occupied it since 2014. Heavy fighting continues in other sectors of the front, the enemy is forced to pull reinforcements into the Avdeevsky sack under the blows of our artillery and aviation.

In the Kherson direction, as a result of heavy fighting, it was possible to push back the enemy at Krynoki and inflict serious damage on the enemy infantry. In this area, demoralization of enemy personnel is also noted in the absence of supplies and adequate fire support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The enemy soldiers wounded on our shore are not evacuated; they are reported to have been captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Krynki were turned into ruins, they suffered the same fate as Pyatikhatki, Rabotino, Kleshcheevka, Maryinka, where enemy soldiers were ground into brick chips and mud.

It's been raining for the second day on the Zaporozhye front. The enemy threw small groups of infantry at Rabotino and Verbovoye. At the same time, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine takes care of the armored vehicles: soldiers disembark from them at a safe distance from the LBS. As a result, the enemy retreated again, suffering losses.

At night, the enemy attacked UAVs in the Moscow, Tula, Kaluga and Bryansk regions. In the Moscow region, UAVs were shot down in the Naro-Fominsk area, Odintsovo urban district, in the Podolsk urban district, and in the Ramensky urban district. The DPR reported at night that the Nazis had attacked power distribution substations. In Donetsk and Yasinovataya, three civilians were wounded, incl. boy born 2012

Three 'victories' and one culprit: how Ukraine adapts to new realities
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Gevorg Mirzayan

[REGNUM] Three sensational news came from Kyiv. First, the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arakhamia , explained in an interview why negotiations between Moscow and Kiev, whose delegation he headed, were disrupted in the spring of 2022.

“The Russians were ready to end the war if we took neutrality, like Finland, and made a commitment that we would not join NATO. This was the key point,” he outlined the essence of the then agreements.

And when asked why they were not adopted, he first spoke about mistrust of Russia, about the need to amend the Constitution - but then he added about advice from the outside: “When we returned from Istanbul, Boris Johnson came to Kiev and said: “We won’t sign anything with them at all and let’s just fight.”

For experts, such information was not a secret: they were talking about the fact that the British literally forced Ukraine to break the agreements reached last summer. However, no one expected that Kyiv would recognize this at the official level.
That tracks with what retired US Army Colonel Douglas McGregor has been saying right along.
Moscow has always stated that it is ready to negotiate. True, not on the same terms as before. “It is not too late to return to the negotiating path; the Russian side has repeatedly said that it is ready for this. But only now under different conditions - taking into account new territorial realities , ” said Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky , who represented the Russian Federation at the negotiations in the spring of 2022.

It would seem that this is unacceptable for Kyiv. However, Arakhamia, in the same interview, broke through the “Overton window”, beginning to outline the technical terms of the deal with Moscow. “I think such things should be done only through a referendum ,” he explained. And he added that he would accept any decision of the people.

And before the public had time to move away from these two statements, Vladimir Zelensky spoke out . During a joint press conference with Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics, he promised to win three victories. But not over Russia, but over the West: the USA and the EU.

The first must be a victory over the American Congress, which has still not allocated funds to finance the Kyiv regime for the current fiscal year. Biden, we recall, requested $60 billion for these purposes, but the Republicans refuse to give that much money, suggesting that they first discuss the issue. “Ukraine must do everything that depends on it, and even more, so that there is help. And I believe that it will be ,” Zelensky said.

The second victory is the pushing of the European Union, which should give Ukraine its own aid package of approximately 50 billion euros. “ Today, not everyone in the European Union, let’s say, is ready to support this package. On our part, we must ensure that everyone supports this package,” Zelensky explained.

Finally, the third victory for Ukraine will be the opening of a dialogue on accession to the EU, which Zelensky called “an important motivational step” for the Kyiv regime.

They lose and talk about peace
All these statements, of course, have something in common - they are united by a reaction to the new realities in which Ukraine and the West now find themselves. Realities in which, instead of military victory (which seemed so close to them last year), the image of a grandiose failure is increasingly visible on the horizon.

“If the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the peak of their form were unable to defeat the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, then now they will be even more unable to cope. Consequently, if we think in business terms, Ukraine as a startup to inflict military defeats on Russia failed: the managers failed, the investments did not pay off. Accordingly, rational behavior on the part of the investor is to fix losses and exit the enterprise. Investors will no longer have profits—indemnities from Russia,” explains Ivan Lizan, head of the analytical bureau of the SONAR-2050 project, to IA Regnum.

Exiting the “enterprise,” however, requires a different “management,” which has already led to disturbances within the Western elites. There is a smell of frying all around, and the Anglo-Saxon “doves” are removing the “hawks” from influencing the decision-making mechanism. They are pushing the pacification agenda according to the Korean version, talking about readiness for negotiations and freezing the conflict, writes Russian political scientist Marat Bashirov .

The idea of concluding peace with Russia with territorial concessions or a “Korean” freeze is part of the political struggle and the search for the last resort in connection with failures in military operations, Nikita Mendkovich, head of the Eurasian Analytical Club , explains to IA Regnum .

Russia was initially planned to be defeated no later than May 2022, forcing it to change power and sign enslaving terms of economic capitulation. “Now we are seeing the opposite situation: NATO is crumbling, suffering defeat, and in Ukraine and the United States a comprehensive search for those responsible for the failure begins ,” says the expert.

And Arakhamia found one such person, “mortgaging” Boris Johnson and the British, blaming them for the ongoing military conflict, which cost the Russians dearly on both sides of the border, writes Marat Bashirov.

The conflict was very costly for the West. And if last spring the United States and the EU had agreed to make peace on Russia’s terms, they would not have lost so much money, reputation and influence in the world. Therefore, Johnson is appointed guilty precisely for the future - when it will be necessary to explain who did not stop the confrontation in time.

True, there is a subtle point here - Moscow deeply does not care who is appointed to the extreme. Moscow wants a solution to the problem, but the West is not yet able to offer it.

From the point of view of big politics, the leapfrog in the West and in Kyiv around the truce has a very limited impact on us. Residents of the occupied territories are exposed to all the fragility and perversity of the institutions that rule them, which should stimulate the struggle for liberation and return to the Russian world against Ukrainian fascism, explains Nikita Mendkovich. “But no one has yet offered real peace conditions that would guarantee our security,” he says.

And here Arakhamia spreads straw for the Kyiv regime. He seeks to remove the blame for the future agreement and place it on millions of Ukrainians, who must vote for Russian recognition of all new territories of the Russian Federation.

Or - and this is also a working version - he wants to demonstrate his readiness for negotiations in this way. In order to drag Russia into them and thereby provide the temporary freezing of the conflict so needed by the Kyiv regime.

Substitution of meanings
As for Zelensky’s “victories,” at first glance, they look wild. Nikita Mendkovich calls these statements an example of overtly colonial thinking. Zelensky does not think in terms of the political life of Ukraine, but pays attention to events in the metropolis. This is where the actual management of the colony takes place; all key decisions are made there: on the allocation of funds, on the continuation of hostilities, and so on.

However, there is also logic in such statements - Zelensky understands perfectly well that Moscow will not buy into the “divorce” of Arakhamia and the West and will not give any ceasefire to the Kyiv regime. “I’m afraid the only option to resolve the conflict remains force. The Russian flag in Kiev can provide us with security, but negotiations do not yet ,” says Nikita Mendkovich.

This means that it is necessary to somehow stimulate the rapidly declining and losing enthusiasm of the population to further resistance. This is extremely difficult to do.

“Ukrainian society, after the failure of the counteroffensive, falls into a state of apathy. For a year and a half they encouraged him and convinced him that the Russians would flee and the war would end. But now, instead of expecting “overcome” - victory, they only have the bitterness of “zrada” - defeat and betrayal. And a growing awareness of the meaninglessness of the struggle, which is becoming endless ,” explains Ivan Lizan.

Ukrainian society needs statements of victories like air. And instead of unattainable goals - the occupation of Donetsk, access to Crimea, etc. — Zelensky gives them completely achievable ones. He understands that the American Congress and the EU will still give some amount: neither Joseph Biden nor Ursula von der Leyen needs the collapse of the Kiev regime. Negotiations on membership with the EU will also begin, since for the European Union this is a pure formality and does not oblige anyone to anything.

That is, in essence, Zelensky simply changes meanings on the fly.

Membership in the EU, the first step towards which is the opening of negotiations, should become a “substitute” for the defeat of Russia, and support from the United States should be a guarantee that America will not abandon Ukraine, says Ivan Lizan: “Help from the EU is an indicator that the European Union , if anything, the falling banner will be picked up and that the American election campaign will not entail a sharp reduction in funding . ”

Experts believe that this rhetorical balancing act once again demonstrates the correctness and effectiveness of the tactics chosen within the framework of the SVO. It has led to the fact that the inevitability of defeat of the Ukrainian regime is recognized not only by the West, but also by Ukraine itself

Miroshnik calls the 'grain summit' in Kyiv 'a good face against a bad game'
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The so-called grain summit held in Kyiv on November 25 only imitates the support of Ukraine by its allies. The true attitude is clearly demonstrated by the blocking of the checkpoint on the Polish-Ukrainian border. Rodion Miroshnik , Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry for the crimes of the Kiev regime, stated this in an interview with TASS.

In addition to the head of the Kiev regime , Vladimir Zelensky, the meeting was attended by the heads of Switzerland and Latvia, and the Prime Minister of Lithuania, who alone, following the meeting, promised to allocate 2 million euros to Ukraine to “ensure grain supplies.”

According to Miroshnik, the meeting is nothing more than an imitation of hectic activity. The capabilities of these states are weak.

“The meeting in Kiev is just a weak attempt to keep a good face in a bad game,” concluded the Russian ambassador.

As Regnum reported , Zelensky said on November 25 that Ukraine had agreed with its allies to provide Kiev with warships to escort cargo ships in the “grain corridor” in the Black Sea. Ukraine will also receive additional air defense systems for the Odessa region.

The grain deal (Black Sea initiative) between Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the UN on the export of grain from Ukraine has been in effect since July 22, 2022. The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly pointed out that there are no grounds for further extension of the agreement, since it has become a purely commercial export of products from Ukraine to “well-fed” countries, and the conditions of the Russian side are not being met.

After Russia’s withdrawal from the agreement, the Russian Ministry of Defense declared all ships sailing through the Black Sea to the ports of Ukraine as potential carriers of military cargo. This decision came into force on July 20. The countries under whose flags the ships fly will be considered involved in the Ukrainian conflict on the side of Kyiv.

Broken negotiations turned Ukraine into a country of disabled people - Simonyan
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The breakdown of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations turned Ukraine into “a country of disabled people and emigrants, a country with a broken backbone - economic, political, social life, and most importantly - the moral spirit of the nation.” This opinion was expressed by the editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group and the RT television channel Margarita Simonyan on the air of the Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on Rossiya 1.

According to Simonyan, everything that is happening in Ukraine today could have been avoided with just one signature.

The head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arakhamia , did not hold back when he said that Kiev refused negotiations on the advice of ex-British Prime Minister Boris Johnson ; he told the truth, she is sure.

“It turns out that hundreds of thousands of victims could have been avoided and Ukraine could not have been turned into the country of disabled people and emigrants that it has now become,” admitted Margarita Simonyan.

In her opinion, Kyiv knew this, because all the “volunteers” from the so-called patriots quickly ran out. Now at the front, the media manager added, it is not brave lads who are fighting, but truckers and taxi drivers who were grabbed on the street, loaded into a UAZ and sent away.

As Regnum reported , more than 1.1 million military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed or missing. This information was published by the Ukrainian TV channel “1+1”. After a call from the office of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, the channel’s management “apologized for the typo.”

On November 21, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of November amounted to more than 13.7 thousand people, and the Kiev army also lost about 1,800 units of weapons and military equipment.

Russia called on Britain to reveal its role in the breakdown of negotiations on Ukraine

The UK authorities should answer uncomfortable questions about the breakdown of peace negotiations on Ukraine against the backdrop of revelations by the head of the faction of the pro-presidential Servant of the People party in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arakhamia . This is stated in a statement by the Russian Embassy in London.

“It is therefore clear that, despite the UK’s significant contribution, the path to a negotiated solution was missed – with tragic consequences for Ukrainian statehood, the economy and the population,” the statement said.

The embassy asked whether the British government would like to comment on Arakhamia's allegations.

As Regnum reported , Arakhamia previously admitted that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict could have ended in the spring of 2022 if Kiev had agreed to neutrality. He said that Russia would agree to a peaceful resolution of the conflict if Ukraine abandoned the idea of joining NATO.

But former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also intervened in the situation ; he came to Kiev and insisted on continuing hostilities, he explained, saying that Johnson convinced the Ukrainian authorities not to sign any agreements with Russia.

Head of the Department of Political Science and Sociology of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, expert of the Association of Military Political Scientists Andrei Koshkin expressed the opinion that the West is hinting to Ukraine about the need for peace with Russia in order to preserve strength to continue the fight.

At the same time, the authors of Korean or German options for resolving the conflict absolutely do not take into account Russia’s position and do not think about whether Moscow agrees to any of these scenarios. According to the expert, this is highly dishonest and biased for analysts who claim a very high level of their articles.

US said that due to refusal to negotiate, Ukraine will lose Odessa
I think that Odessa and Khar'kov were already on the butcher's block.
Due to the fact that the leaders of the Kiev regime refused peace negotiations with Russia, Ukraine will lose Kherson and Zaporozhye, and most likely also Kharkov and Odessa, which it would have retained in the event of negotiations, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said on November 26.

“The Ukrainians had a chance to achieve peace, and then they would have had the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. But now (this will not happen. - Ed.). The Russians will never give up these areas and, most likely, will liberate Kharkov and Odessa,” Johnson said in an interview with the Dialogue works YouTube channel.

The negotiations, which began in the spring of 2022, had to be continued, and now the situation for Ukraine in terms of territorial losses can only get worse, the expert added. The Ukrainian Armed Forces will probably not be able to hold out longer than February 2024, Johnson believes.

As Regnum reported , on November 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow has never refused negotiations with Kiev. The Ukrainian authorities themselves prohibited such negotiations, Putin noted, recalling that in the spring of 2022, representatives of Kyiv initialed a peace agreement, but after the withdrawal of units of the Russian Armed Forces from Kiev, they refused to implement it.

The US and German authorities want to force the leaders of the Kiev regime to negotiate peace with Moscow and therefore send Ukraine such shipments of weapons that are enough to hold the front line, but not for an offensive, noted columnists for the German newspaper Bild in their article in November 2023.

Previously, the Kremlin and the Russian Foreign Ministry have repeatedly noted that Russia is ready for peace negotiations with Ukraine, provided that Kiev fulfills the requirements set before the start of a special military operation, and subject to the recognition of new territorial realities - the return of four regions to Russia in 2022.

How the Russians took Promka (Avdievka region)
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary taken from the Telegram channel of veterany_60omsb

[ColonelCassad] Everyone has written about Promka. I'll tell you how it was, because I saw everything with my own eyes. Just jumped out of there.

The "Veterans" brigade https://t.me/veterany_60omsb did it!

I'll make a reservation. Of course, this was a joint operation and several units were involved in it. But the main work of storming the buildings fell on the shoulders of the “Veterans”. It was they who took almost all the buildings (the reservation can almost be ignored). They were the ones who led the assault groups.

I never tire of being amazed at their feat. I still can’t wrap my head around the full scale of the operation they managed to carry out. Promka could not be taken for several years. And now she has fallen!

The current assault began on November 9. There were a few tough spots. The enemy fortified them well. These buildings had good visibility, some were even equipped with turrets with heavy machine guns.

I will not mention the code names of key points, since the area is still being cleared.

The penultimate one could not be taken for several days. The enemy poured fire on the approaching assault groups. The point was shelled from tanks, but it did not give up.

At some point, our tank managed to suppress enemy fire contact and the Veteran attack aircraft made their way into the building in one burst. They immediately extinguished the fires, then carried out the cleanup. After this, neighboring buildings began to be taken away.

November 24
This was a key day. "Promka" left the operational headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The high command gave the order to the Ukrainian army soldiers to leave the territory of the Avdievka industrial zone. The assault groups of the "Veterans" brigade came almost close to him.
Ukrainian officers, if they can be called such, abandoned ordinary soldiers to the defense of Promka, which was already meaningless and unnecessary even for the Ukrainian Geishtab. Having set fire to the headquarters, they walked on foot to the checkpoint and their sad line, wandering up the mountain through the slush towards Avdievka, became a symbol of the fallen "Promka".

At this time, the “Veterans” were already shelling the empty headquarters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Promka.

After the flight of the Ukrainian headquarters, messages appeared in telegram channels that Promka had fallen.

The "veterans" took buildings one by one and cleared them. Ordinary soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, forgotten by their own command, remained in them. They tried to shoot back, but their resistance was quickly extinguished.

On November 26.
Promka almost completely came under the control of the Russian group. During the day, in one of the buildings, in the basement, a group of sushushniks was hiding, who fell into a trap. I don’t know what happened to them; they left before the clearing of this building was completed. But I think the building is protected now.

Military correspondents report the liberation of the Avdeevka industrial zone

The Russian military liberated an industrial zone near the city of Avdeevka in the DPR, which had been under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2014. This was reported on November 26 by Military Review with reference to military correspondents.

The industrial zone in the area of the Yasinovataya 2 railway station was completely liberated on the evening of November 25 as a result of battles with superior enemy forces, the report says.

It is emphasized that neither industrial buildings and basements, nor long-term fortifications, nor a large supply of cluster munitions, nor numerical superiority helped the Ukrainian Armed Forces to hold out in this fortified area.

The Russian military showed the highest level of assault operations, during which infantry, tanks, reconnaissance and artillery acted harmoniously.

The liberation of the Avdeevsk industrial zone is a serious tactical success for the Russian Armed Forces. Here was one of the key positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk direction, emphasized military expert Boris Rozhin.

“Despite stubborn resistance, the enemy was driven out of the prepared positions, which had been strengthened for more than eight years,” military correspondent Yuri Kotenok quotes Rozhin as saying on the Telegram channel.

The information that Russian troops are in the industrial zone of Avdievka was confirmed on Soloviev LIVE by Anatoly Matviychuk, editor-in-chief of Anna News.

Military observer Yuri Podolyaka also spoke about the completion of the cleanup of the southern industrial zone of Avdievka.

Earlier, a source told Regnum news agency that the main task of the Russian military in Avdievka is to push the enemy out of the city, creating a threat of encirclement, or “to encircle and put pressure inside.” The most important center of resistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces is the Avdievka Coke and Chemical Plant (AKHZ), a city-forming enterprise in the north-west of the city.
Russian encirclement is a chimera. In WWII Russians needed an inner ring and an outer ring to encircle an objective. This time I doubt they even have the troops for half a single ring.
The territory of Koksokhim has been turned into a continuous fortified area, as was the case in Mariupol at Azovstal. Instead of attempting a frontal assault on AKHZ, which is fraught with serious losses, the Russian Armed Forces are seeking to cut off the Ukrainian Armed Forces units holding Koksokhim and operating in the rest of the city from supplies from the north.
