Board President for Black Lives (Only) Matter arrested on fentanyl charges
[LawEnforcementToday] According to reports, on August 31st, Minnesota Freedom Fund Board President Valentina McKenzie, was arrested for fentanyl possession.

Deputy Chief Kimberly Clauson with the Bloomington Police Department (BPD) confirmed that McKenzie was arrested at 78th Street East and 12th Avenue at 10:35 p.m. The deputy added, “She was booked and released from our jail pending out of custody charges.”

According to Clauson, the very next day, on September 1st, police submitted a request for charges to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office for felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance – fentanyl, and misdemeanor charges of possessing an open package of marijuana in a motor vehicle.

As of Wednesday, September 13th, no charges have yet been filed. Minnesota Freedom Fund communications director, Noble Frank, issued a statement, saying, “The Minnesota Freedom Fund can confirm that MFF board chair Valentina McKenzie was arrested on Thursday, August 31st, in Bloomington. No charges have been filed. Out of respect for the legal process, we will have no further comment at this time.”

The nonprofit bail fund was founded back in 2016, but took off in 2020 during the Black Lives Matter protests after the death of George Floyd, pledging to “bail out protesters arrested” – including violent criminals.

The fund raised tens of millions of dollars when it was promoted throughout social media by numerous celebrities, including the vice president herself, Kamala Harris. Back in 2020, Harris tweeted, “If you’re able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota.”

Since then, the group used its celebrity-infused $40 million cash to bail out several violent and potentially dangerous people. While out a bail, many of those individuals committed new crimes, including murder, sex offenses and serious assaults.

According to reports, the fund was later blamed for the release of Jaleel Stallings, who was charged with attempted murder after shooting at police during a Black Lives Matter violent protest.

His bail was set at $75,000 and it was paid by the MN Freedom Fund. In another case, a man who was accused of sexually assaulting his 16-year-old niece, was bailed out of jail by none other than the MN Freedom Fund.

The Daily Caller reported that a woman who was accused of stabbing her aunt with a knife was also bailed out by the organization. The fund also helped bail out six men accused of domestic violence between June and August of 2021.

Harris, who publicly announced her “support” for the fund, has never once mentioned the damage that this fund has done to the community. After several of these individuals were released, some that are considered violent offenders, she still never said anything.

In February, the organization announced the formation of MFF Action, a sister organization that will lobby state lawmakers to end case bail in the state of Minnesota. In response to past criticism, MFF said:

“The cash bail system criminalizes poverty, forcing legally innocent people with less wealth to remain incarcerated while wealthier people accused of the same crime go free. We work to extend the same constitutional right to cash bail to everyone, regardless of their wealth.”

McKenzie stated that she too is “committed to abolishing prison one step at a time starting with ending the cash bail system.”

Thousands Of 'Bogus' Jet-Engine Parts Sold To Global Airline Fleets: Report
[ZeroHedge] Lawyers representing jet engine maker CFM International and its co-owners General Electric and Safran said "documentary evidence" shows thousands of jet engine parts with falsified documents were sold to global aircraft fleets by London-based AOG Technics, according to Bloomberg.

On Wednesday, in a London court, lawyers for CFM requested the judge force AOG to hand over documentation of "every product sale" since the company was set up in 2015.

Since late August, AOG has been at the center of a counterfeit components controversy, supplying third-party repair shops with "unapproved parts" for CFM56 engines used on older Airbus SE A320s and Boeing Co. 737s.

"The apparent large-scale falsification of documentation uncovered by the claimants gives rise to the risk that evidence relevant to these proceedings will be destroyed by the defendants," lawyers for CFM wrote in a court filing.

CFM lawyers noted there is documentary evidence that thousands of these jet engine parts were flooded into global aircraft fleets over the years.

Matthew Reeve, a CFM lawyer, said 86 "falsified release certificates" have been found, and the number of engines suspected to have parts with falsified documents has jumped to 96.

"Potentially, that means between 48 and 96 aircraft being taken out of service whilst airlines arrange for the parts to be removed," Reeve added.

According to aviation news website Simple Flying, "United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and Virgin Airlines have all discovered faulty engine parts supplied by fraudulent manufacturer AOG Technics."

CFM warned the court: "The apparent large-scale falsification of documentation uncovered by the claimants gives rise to the risk that evidence relevant to these proceedings will be destroyed by the defendants."

Although the findings affect only a tiny portion of the 23,000 CFM56 engines in operation, the presence of unauthorized parts in such a tightly regulated aviation industry raises significant alarms.

I'm an ex KGB agent who was taught to seduce men - and I can show you how to get any man you want: My five top tips include a mind trick you should play on men
[MAIL] A former Russian spy who seduced foreign agents with her 'pillow talk' has launched a company teaching women how to get any man they want.
Things I didn't know I needed to know.
Aliia Roza, 39, was born behind the iron curtain in Kazakhstan, and spied for the Russian government shortly after the Soviet Union fell in 1991.

She said she was a 'female James Bond' and became an expert in 'the psychology of men' so she was able to get top secret information by hitting on enemy agents.

No longer a spy, in July 2017 she launched her own private members club - teaching women how to bag any man they want.

Aliia teaches her 2,000 members that it doesn't matter how you look - you can still get whatever you want from men, she claims.

She said the key is confidence - but her more controversial lessons include pretending you know secrets about your date to make them paranoid.

Africa Subsaharan
African state demands slavery reparations from the West
[RT] No amount of money would be enough to compensate Africa for the horrors of the slave trade, but reparations must still be paid by the West as an acknowledgment of the crime, Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo said during the UN General Assembly.

"The world should not pretend" that the economic and social problems currently experienced by the African continent "have nothing to do with the historical injustices that have fashioned the structures of the world," Akufo-Addo told world leaders in New York on Wednesday.

"Much of Europe and the US have been built from the vast wealth harvested from the sweat, tears, blood and horrors on the transatlantic slave trade [between the 16th and the 19th centuries] and the centuries of colonial exploitation," he said.

It’s no wonder that African countries are struggling to build prosperous societies after they had "their natural resources looted and their peoples traded as commodities" for such a long time, the president added.

Akufo-Addo acknowledged that modern Europeans and Americans "aren’t the ones that engaged in the slave trade." However, he pointed out that the forceful transfer of Africans across the Atlantic was "state-sponsored and deliberate and its benefits are clearly interwoven with the present-day economic architecture" of the Western countries behind it.

"Reparations must be paid for the slave trade," Ghana’s leader insisted, before being interrupted by a round of applause.

"No amount of money will ever make up for the horrors, but it would make the point that evil was perpetrated, that millions of productive Africans were snatched from the embrace of our continent, and put to work in the Americas and the Caribbean without compensation for their labor," he said.

The issue of reparations will be discussed further at a dedicated conference to be held in Ghana’s capital Accra in November under the auspices of the African Union, Akufo-Addo added.

His speech was delivered on the eve of Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day, when Ghana, which has a population of about 33 million, celebrates Francis Kwame Nkrumah, a prominent fighter against colonialism and the country’s first prime minister and president after it gained independence from Britain in the late 1950s.

Government Corruption
Dem Superlawyer Marc Elias Represents PAC Secretly Funded by SBF
[Free Beacon] First it was Hillary Clinton, Andrew Gillum, and the Black Lives Matter Foundation. Now add disgraced crypto kingpin Sam Bankman-Fried to Democratic superlawyer Marc Elias's list of controversial clients.

Mind the Gap, a political action committee founded by Bankman-Fried's mother, has paid Elias Law Group nearly $30,000 since February 2022, according to campaign finance disclosures. A lawsuit filed this week alleges that Bankman-Fried and his mother, Stanford Law professor Barbara Fried, conspired to make illegal campaign contributions to Mind the Gap.

Bankman-Fried's former company, FTX, revealed the scheme in a lawsuit against Fried, in which the law professor is accused of aiding and abetting her son's fraud against the cryptocurrency exchange.

It's the latest in a string of controversial clients for Elias, who as an attorney for failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton commissioned an infamous dossier that falsely accused the Trump campaign of colluding with Russia to influence the 2016 election. Elias's firm has represented the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, a left-wing group accused of misappropriating millions of dollars in donations. Elias also represented former Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum (D.) in a 21-count federal fraud case.

It is unclear what services Elias Law Group provided Mind the Gap, which Fried launched in 2018 to support Democratic campaigns. The law firm provides an array of campaign services to its clients, including campaign finance issues, ballot recount initiatives, and election-related legal challenges.

Elias Law Group has represented Mind the Group amid Bankman-Fried's high-profile fraud case. Bankman-Fried was indicted in December on federal charges for defrauding FTX customers out of billions of dollars. Prosecutors alleged that Bankman-Fried stole billions of dollars from FTX customers to fund his lavish lifestyle and make political donations to boost his personal profile and that of his company. Bankman-Fried gave $40 million to Democratic campaigns, including $5 million to a political action committee that supported Joe Biden in 2020. He visited the White House at least four times last year, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

Money for Migrants and Ukraine, but no money for Snow Creek Bridge
[Gateway] A year ago, veteran Phil Paxson was leaving a birthday party for his daughter after volunteering to stay and clean up in Hickory, North Carolina. He plugged in the 4 mile trek back to his home in the dark and rain, driving his Jeep Gladiator, a brief ten minute trip that Google Maps told him went over Snow Creek Bridge.

#1  In a way, I just discovered a hint of virtue in this tragedy, in of all places, lawyers. My initial reaction was to focus on the moronic decision to remove traffic barriers that blocked the approach to the missing bridge. But any financial rewards would most likely punish the taxpayers of that jurisdiction since the idiot that ordered the removal of a barrier would claim protection from personal liability while acting in a public capacity. The Goggle defendant choice actually seeks compensation for loss due to negligence from a private, albeit unwitting negligent party. I get that it is also a deep pocket for whom a six or seven figure cursory settlement with a sealed non-disclosure agreement is a pinprick if successful. But at least the effort avoided, it seems, the taxpayers around Hickory, North Carolina, and for that, note should be made.

International-UN-NGOs
France and Germany propose ''EU Lite'' membership tier amid expansion plans
[Shafaq News] La Belle France and Germany, two key European heavyweights, have presented a groundbreaking proposal with a diversified European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
(EU) membership structure, including an "EU lite" category tailored for countries like the UK. This proposal arrives as the EU grapples with the implications of the Ukraine war and contemplates its most substantial expansion in decades.
"EU Lite spokesmodel Dylan Mulvaney..."
According to the Guardian, 12 academics and lawyers urge the EU institutions to implement reforms by 2030 to accommodate potential new members, most notably Ukraine.

The report does not represent the official positions of Germany or La Belle France. Still, it serves as a foundational document for discussions among 46 European countries and an informal gathering of the 27 EU leaders scheduled for consecutive days in October in Granada, Spain.

Germany's Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
Minister, Anna Luhrmann, jointly presented the report in Brussels with her French counterpart, emphasizing the importance of preparing the EU for expansion. "It is clear the enlargement of the EU is in all our interests," Luhrmann stated.

One of the study's key proposals involves establishing different membership tiers, including the inner Circle. This exclusive tier would encompass countries with "deep integration" in areas such as the Eurozone and the Schengen area. These nations would enjoy a high level of integration and cooperation.

Another tier is the current EU Members, which includes the existing members of the European Union.

Associate Members is a significant tier that allows countries to participate in the single market, potentially including countries like Norway, which is part of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

The EU Lite Members is a tier explicitly designed for countries like the UK; this tier involves "political cooperation" with the EU but without the binding commitment to EU law.

The proposal aims to spark intense discussions among EU member states and candidate countries. While the concept of an "EU lite" category has the potential to accommodate countries with varying levels of integration, critics argue it could lead to a fragmented EU.

[TheIntercept] Google had been in contact with the Republican National Committee about Rumble’s exclusive rights, emails show.

by Ryan Grim

LEADING UP TO the August Republican presidential primary debate, an official from Google’s Civics and U.S. Campaigns team reached out to the Republican National Committee with a standard question, according to a cache of emails obtained by The Intercept: “[D]oes the RNC have live stream plans that I can share with the product team?”

The question made sense: For major events, people flock to Google to find out when a live event is occurring — yielding the now-legendary 2011 HuffPost article “What Time Is the Super Bowl?” — and also, just as importantly, where that event can be watched.

An RNC official told Google via email that the debate would be streaming exclusively on the upstart video platform Rumble. The August 23 debate was broadcast on Fox News and streamed on Fox Nation, which requires a subscription, while Rumble was the only one to stream it for free.

On the day of and during the debate, however, potential viewers who searched Google for “GOP debate stream” were returned links to YouTube, Fox News, and news articles about the debate, according to screen recordings of contemporaneous searches. Rumble was nowhere on the first page.

For Rumble, which is currently in discovery in an antitrust lawsuit against Google in California, this is a case of Google suppressing its competitors in favor of its own product, YouTube. “The first Republican presidential debate was yet another example of Google’s determination to squash competing video platforms,” said Rumble general counsel Michael Ellis. “In its own words, Google uses search to highlight other major election events but chose not to offer the same feature to Rumble’s livestream. We look forward to proving Google’s continued anticompetitive conduct in court.”

For Google, it was merely a miscommunication. “The facts here are very mundane,” said a Google spokesperson. “People could easily find information about where to watch the debate in Google Search results. And as part of our ongoing effort to build dedicated features in Search to more prominently showcase events like debates, we reached out to the RNC and Rumble, but unfortunately it didn’t come together in time to test and create the livestream feature. We’ve already worked with the RNC and Rumble to get this feature set up for the next debate, as we would do with any livestream provider.”

In Egypt, archaeologists have found an underwater temple of the goddess Aphrodite
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The temple of the ancient Greek goddess Aphrodite was discovered underwater off the coast of Egypt by scientists from the Egyptian-French archaeological mission. CNN reported this on September 20 , citing information from the European Institute of Underwater Archeology (IEASM).

It is clarified that a joint Egyptian-French archaeological mission from the Supreme Council of Antiquities and the European Institute of Underwater Archeology discovered the temple of the goddess Aphrodite, dating back to the 5th century BC.

An ancient Greek sanctuary dedicated to Aphrodite and containing bronze and ceramic objects was discovered during excavations underwater in the sunken ancient city of Heraklion in the Gulf of Abu Qir near Alexandria. Artifacts discovered inside the temple were brought from Greece.

According to IEASM, the remains of Heraklion are now underwater at a depth of 45 meters, seven kilometers from the current coast of Egypt. The city was the largest port of Ancient Egypt on the Mediterranean Sea for several centuries in a row.

Rising sea levels and earthquakes, followed by tidal waves, caused part of the Nile Delta, covering an area of 110 square kilometers, to completely submerge, taking with it the city of Heraklion. According to archaeologists, the city disappeared under water about 1,200 years ago. Scientists from IEASM discovered Heraklion in 2000.

Earlier , IA Regnum reported that in the south of Peru, in the department of Ayacucho, researchers from the National University of San Cristobal de Huamanga discovered seven tombs with human remains. All ancient burials date back to the pre-Columbian era.

Once inside the main lobby, visitors can see one of the most amazing fossil marine reptiles–a gigantic Tylosaurus hangs above the stairwell. During its time, this incredible almost-50′-long mosasaur was certainly the apex predator of the sea. The fossil at KU is a cast of the largest mosasaur ever discovered, and like many major sea reptile discoveries–it was found in Kansas.

American Phone-Tracking Firm Demo'd Surveillance powers by Spying on CIA and NSA
[The Intercept] IN THE MONTHS leading up to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, two obscure American startups met to discuss a potential surveillance partnership that would merge the ability to track the movements of billions of people via their phones with a constant stream of data purchased directly from Twitter. According to Brendon Clark of Anomaly Six — or "A6" — the combination of its cellphone location-tracking technology with the social media surveillance provided by Zignal Labs would permit the U.S. government to effortlessly spy on Russian forces as they amassed along the Ukrainian border, or similarly track Chinese nuclear submarines. To prove that the technology worked, Clark pointed A6’s powers inward, spying on the National Security Agency and CIA, using their own cellphones against them.

Virginia-based Anomaly Six was founded in 2018 by two ex-military intelligence officers and maintains a public presence that is scant to the point of mysterious, its website disclosing nothing about what the firm actually does. But there’s a good chance that A6 knows an immense amount about you. The company is one of many that purchases vast reams of location data, tracking hundreds of millions of people around the world by exploiting a poorly understood fact: Countless common smartphone apps are constantly harvesting your location and relaying it to advertisers, typically without your knowledge or informed consent, relying on disclosures buried in the legalese of the sprawling terms of service that the companies involved count on you never reading. Once your location is beamed to an advertiser, there is currently no law in the United States prohibiting the further sale and resale of that information to firms like Anomaly Six, which are free to sell it to their private sector and governmental clientele. For anyone interested in tracking the daily lives of others, the digital advertising industry is taking care of the grunt work day in and day out — all a third party need do is buy access.
