It's called sampling. The Russians hide the vast majority of their war dead, even from the dead soldiers' families.

If you had bothered to read the thread, three things stick out:
1. The high death rate upon entering Ukraine. That goes with the lack of training for the mobiks as well being used for cannon fodder attacks, and continue to be used this way, instead of the rear jobs they were promised.

2. The dead skew to 30+ years of age. It means the young are better informed and dodging the war like it was the plague. The older are more susceptible to Kremlin propaganda or feel it is their duty. As a consequence, Russia is losing their most productive workers. Even experienced defense production workers are mobilized. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

3. Russian minorities (Asians and Muslims) are suffering disproportionate casualties. But that's old news and a long standing Russian practice.
