Nunes: Dems, Journos, Will be Frightened by Declassified Trump-Russian Docs
[Daily Caller] House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes said this week that Democrats and the media are likely to be "frightened" by the information contained in Trump-Russia documents that Republicans are asking President Trump to declassify.

Speaking at an event hosted by the Center for Security Policy on Thursday, Nunes said that Trump is close to declassifying portions of a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant granted against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

On July 21, the Justice Department released heavily redacted versions of four FISA warrants granted against Page from Oct. 2016 through June 2017. (RELATED: DOJ Releases Carter Page FISA Applications)

The unredacted portions showed that the FBI relied heavily on the infamous Steele dossier to obtain the warrants. Republicans have accused the FBI of abusing the FISA process by citing the dossier even though it was unverified and financed by Democrats as part of an opposition research project.

Before that release, Nunes and other Republicans on the House Intelligence panel sent a letter to Trump calling on him to declassify and release 21 pages of the fourth and final FISA warrant.

2. James O'Keefe release of Deep State expose.

Finally a believable CNN poll
[Breitbart] Pope Francis’s approval rating has fallen to an all-time low, according to a new CNN poll showing that fewer than 50 percent of Americans now have a favorable opinion of the pontiff.

Fewer than half of Americans (48 percent) now say they have a favorable view of the pope, CNN reported, which represents a significant drop since January 2017, when the pontiff enjoyed a two-thirds approval rating. In December 2013, the year he was elected, Francis’spopularity was higher still, with 72 percent of Americans giving the pope a favorable rating.

Early in his pontificate, Francis stressed the themes of mercy, poverty, and evangelization, which gradually gave way to emphasis on more politically charged issues such as global warming and immigration.

More recently, however, the pope has come under fire for refusing to answer allegations that he was aware of the serial homosexual predation of U.S. Cardinal Theodore McCarrick and yet elevated him to a position of prominence, allowing McCarrick to influence the naming of American bishops.

#7  Previous marriage of Joseph. the siblings weren’t cousins, but Joseph’s children from a previous marriage, making them the step-siblings of Jesus. Joseph isn’t mentioned outside of the birth of Jesus, causing some to believe that he was much older than Mary and died before Jesus’ public ministry. It is conjecture, but some apocryphal works, such as the Protoevangelium of James, the Gospel of Peter, and the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, all seem to indicate a tradition of belief that Jesus’ brothers and sisters were the children of Joseph. Even this Baptist knows that.

That's a cure for your ignorance.

But this isn't the place to argue Protestant Vs Catholic thats been a divide since the 1500's. Its to argue against a corrupt Pope.

Joe diGenova: Comey, McCabe, and Strzok Are 'Going Down' Over FISA Warrant Abuses
[PJ] In the wake of newly released text messages between fired FBI agent Peter Strzok and former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, former federal prosecutor Joe diGenova said he believes "the walls are closing in" on Obama-era FBI and Department of Justice Department officials.

Damning new texts obtained by Fox News this week show former FBI lovebirds Strzok and Page talking about government employees "leaking like mad" and media outlets competing for scoops in the run-up to the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

"The walls are closing in, but they're not closing in on the president. They're closing in on the FBI and the Department of Justice under President Obama," diGenova said on Fox News' "Hannity" Thursday night.

He explained that the new Strzok-Page texts exposed a strategy to "illegally and criminally" release Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant information, including releasing the name of a U.S. citizen caught up in the surveillance abuse.

"By mentioning Carter Page, they have now created massive civil liability for everybody involved in revealing Carter Page's name," diGenova declared. He cited the names of former FBI counterintelligence director Bill Priestap, former FBI director James Comey, former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, and former FBI general counsel James Baker as people who are particularly vulnerable to civil liability.

#4  #3 I'm waiting for the discovery of the dead people John.

Hope your unfinished thought is only that.

The Clintons are adept at putting people between themselves and those who end up dead. It has always been a bit of a surprise to me how they have been able to amass power around themselves so that others end up doing their dirty work. I suppose it is a matter of using compromising info, money, threats, extortion and the promises of power--all the things the DS thrives upon.

I'd be happy with a good draining of the swamp to discourage others from repeating the evil and criminality. Maybe I'm in a Pollyanna mood today but I've got a feeling this coming week and the run-up to the midterms will be "revealing" and result in good changes.

A Brief History of Repressive Regimes and Their Gun Laws
[Mises Institute] Arguably one of the rights that has seen less government encroachment in the US ‐ in contrast to other activities such as commerce ‐ gun rights are now witnessing unprecedented attacks at the state level and even from politically-connected corporate entities.

Although gun control laws are not created equally in terms of overall impact, gun confiscation holds a special place in the halls of political repression. A trip down memory lane will give us a refresher of how gun confiscation has helped consolidate government power.

Jimmy Carter: I Would ‘Change All' of Trump's Policies if I Were President Again
[Breitbart] This week during a student town hall at Emory University, former President Jimmy Carter said he would change "all" of the policies of President Donald Trump.

When asked what he would do if he became president of the United States again, Carter said, "If I were foolish enough to feel I could be president again and I got to be president, I think the first thing I would do would be to change all of the policies that President Trump has initiated since he has been in office."

He continued, "I pray for him fairly regularly."

Carter explained, "If he answered my prayers, he’d have to change a lot of things."

He added, "I hope he will do well if he finishes out his first term."

Carter’s comments were given a standing ovation.

Science & Technology
Google, China create search engine that tracks, censors searches and links them to users' phone numbers
[Wash Examiner] A prototype of a censored search engine that links users' queries to their personal phone numbers is the result of a collaboration between Google and China.

This technology would make it easier for the Communist Party of China to monitor people and what they are searching, the Intercept reported Friday.

Dragonfly, the code name for the new search engine, was designed for Android devices.

The search engine would remove information that the Chinese government deems sensitive, like content regarding political dissidents, free speech, democracy, human rights, and protests, in something called a censorship blacklist.

The blacklist includes the terms "human rights," "student protest," and "Nobel Prize," among other terms in Mandarin, the language the majority of Chinese people speak.

Sources familiar with the Google project told Intercept that by linking searches to phone numbers, people seeking information banned by the Chinese government could be at risk for interrogation or detention.

"This is very problematic from a privacy point of view, because it would allow far more detailed tracking and profiling of people’s behavior," Cynthia Wong, a senior internet researcher with Human Rights Watch, said. "Linking searches to a phone number would make it much harder for people to avoid the kind of overreaching government surveillance that is pervasive in China."

Several human rights groups criticized the move in an open letter, saying it would result in Google "directly contributing to ... human rights violations."

The technology could also be used to increase China’s ability to manipulate information provided to the public, such as altering weather and air pollution data.

As of Saturday morning, Google has not yet commented on the project or concerns it has brought up with human rights groups and activists.

Recently, many conservative voices and social media users in the U.S. have complained that search engines are exhibiting bias toward liberal voices and media outlets in search results.

Why Google Should Die
For generations, parents taught children "You can't believe everything you read."

Now they ought to teach their offspring they can't trust everything they search on the internet because Google -- run by anti-conservative, anti-Trump elites -- is manipulating search results to advance a political agenda.
The problem with this is that Google has been doing the same thing with a large number of leftist beliefs for at least ten years, Only since the 2016 elections has it been considered a problem.
In a damning new video obtained and released by Breitbart this week, Google's top executives, including its founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, are heard lamenting the victory of Donald Trump following the 2016 presidential election. Brin kicks off their weekly company meeting by saying the meeting is "probably not the most joyous TGIF we've had" and that "most people here are pretty upset and pretty sad."

Clearly he doesn't speak for the roughly 63 million Americans who voted for Trump.

Notwithstanding, in the video, co-founder Brin describes Trump's supporters as fascists and extremists and vows to thwart the rise of populism. He adds that he is "deeply offended" by the Trump's victory and that the election conflicts with many of Google's values. Google's CFO, also saddened by Trump's win, promises that America's most highly trafficked search engine will "use the great strength and resources and reach we have to continue to advance really important values."
It is their product, which they have and should have the unfettered right to do as they wish
Perhaps this could explain why a Google News search on Trump churns out mostly negative stories about the president and his administration. In fact, a media research study conducted PJ Media found that 96 percent of the top 100 search returns on President Trump are from left-wing media outlets. Conservative outlets that would provide voters with a more balanced and positive analysis of the Trump administration are -- surprise! -- virtually invisible.
They're not invisible. They are far down the search list. Not censored. Not blocked. Leftist groups know how to manipulate Google to their advantage. Conservative groups do not.
How is that possible when every major media outlet on all sides of the political spectrum is covering the Trump administration round the clock?

You don't need an Ivy League degree to see foul play.
There's no foul play here. Nothing illegal, nor demanding government attention.
But that's not all. A newly released email by another Google executive following the 2016 election reveals a get-out-the-vote effort directed toward Latino voters to benefit Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Add to it that during the election, Google was accused of burying information from search queries damaging to its candidate of choice, Hillary Clinton.
Google doesn't bury search results. Leftists know how to game Google.
And then there's the boycott of the recent congressional hearing on foreign election interference and digital media bias against conservatives last week. Facebook and Twitter participated. Google did not.

Perhaps America's top search engine is scrambling to contain the public relations mess it has created -- or it's busy mounting a legal defense.

With the Department of Justice investigating all of the above, that's probably not a bad idea.
