#1 Ok, so he missed the ever important slice right after mechanized warfare. Insurgency warfare was the response to the mass of tanks and planes. Insurgency leveled the playing field by taking away the FLOT and battle lines. The follow on propaganda campaign come after this.
As proof I only have to quote a lethal Maoist insurgent I once knew name Victor Corpus. He said," We cant fight in the air, we have no planes. We cant fight the tanks, we have no tanks. But all airplanes have to land and take off, and all tanks need gas. And we will fight them there."

#2 Nonsense. Psych warfare was used from the earliest stages. Hell, you can see it with two tribes of monkeys contesting a territory.
