International Criminal Court condemns US sanctions against officials

[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The International Criminal Court (ICC) has condemned the issuance by the United States of an Executive Order seeking to impose sanctions on the court's officials and harm its independent and impartial judicial work.

The ICC said in a press statement that it ''stands firmly by its personnel and pledges to continue providing justice and hope to millions of innocent victims of atrocities across the world, in all Situations before it.''

''We call on our 125 States Parties, civil society and all nations of the world to stand united for justice and fundamental human rights
...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions...
,'' the court concluded.

signed an executive order imposing sanctions on the ICC for alleged ''illegal actions'' against the United States and Israel.

The order, which was published by the White House, includes a ban on the entry of ICC officials, staff, and personnel into the United States, as well as their immediate family members. Additionally, the decree stipulates the freezing of their assets within the United States.

The ICC, based in The Hague, had previously issued arrest warrants on November 21, 2024, for Israeli officials Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant for war crimes against the Paleostinian people.

#1 The ICC is a de facto alliance against the US&Israel in particular and Western civilization in general.

The ICC is a court in the same sense that a cargo cult airplane is an airplane.

The fact that many nominally Western nations participate in this travesty is another proof of the West's collective suicidal masochism.

"Since the adoption of the 2008 constitution citizens and anyone wishing to become a citizens are required by law to nominally follow Sunni Islam[188] which would make Maldives a 100% Muslim country in theory."

So much for "Fundamental Human Rights."
