[Red State] One of the first executive actions that President Donald Trump took was to pull the security clearances of the 51 former intel officials who were involved in the infamous letter about the Hunter Biden laptop.
That action from Trump prompted a whining fit from former CIA Director John Brennan, who was one of the signatories of that letter.
On Sunday, Brennan was still whining on MSNBC's "The Weekend." This time, he was railing about the roles the Director of National Intelligence and Director of the CIA play in making sure people who have to make the decisions are fully informed about what the reality is. If they withhold things or "skew things," it's really going to be detrimental, he declared.
Brennan claimed it was "so, so dangerous" if they just gave Trump the information he wanted to hear.
Does he realize that the president of the United States gets information from multiple sources — and can even do his own research? Or at least an energetic, intelligent president will do so. “Trust but verify,” as President Reagan said. |
