In a Tuesday filing, he asks Judge Juan Merchan (another rabid partisan) to keep Trump's guilty verdict intact while simply never sentencing him — and so robbing the defendant of any chance to appeal.

That is, the DA who goes all out to protect ~~violent~~ mostly peaceful street thugs is happy to eviscerate the rights of his chosen targets, including the president-elect.
