Larry Hogan wins GOP Senate primary in Maryland
[THEHILL] Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) has won the Republican nomination in the closely watched race for the state’s open Senate seat, according to a projection from Decision Desk HQ.

Hogan is vying to succeed retiring Democratic Sen. Ben Cardin (Md.), whose plans to leave the upper chamber after three terms in the role kicked off a competitive Democratic primary in the Old Line State.

#3 I held my nose when I voted for him. Rino for sure but only one strong enough to win next election. Law enforcement can't stand the man or our new governor Moore. Rainy day fund is gone that Hogan built up. Spending continues. New taxes for short falls. 70% cuts to food stamp recipients. Community rescue services dramatically cut at this time. Closure of ACS power plant will dramatically increase energy and water cost increases. Tough times ahead.

#4 The great part is the dem voters passed on the white guy who could self fund his candidacy in favor of the box checker who will strain party resources that could go to other tight races.

#5 Sort of a win. Bringing both MAGA and RINOs to the Maryland polls might make a difference down ballot.

#6 If the GOP picks up the Senate I'd rather it was Jim Justice and Tim Sheehy supplying the 51st and 52nd votes anyway.

#7 If he makes it, he makes it. He would be a vote for Thune or Cornyn as Majority Leader.

#8 Once again, the GOP embarrasses itself.

If you think I'm voting (or not voting) GOP, then all you have to do is look at Hogan and Mittens and Murkowski and..........
