Iowa teen Jeremy Goodale breaks down in tears before he has a nose bleed as judge sentences him to life for helping to beat to death his Spanish language teacher who had given his friend a bad grade

Goodale, 18, admitted to killing Spanish teacher Nohema Graber, 66, in 2021

His co-defendant Willard Miller sought revenge for a poor grade given to him by Graber in 2021, got life imprisonment for first degree murder

Goodale has now been sentenced to a minimum of 25 years

#2 I wonder why he was grabbed, locked up, indicted, trialed and sentenced all in only 2 years. His buddy was wrapped up even earlier with a plea bargain. Looks like both were juveniles at the time of the crime.

#8 Paper cuts. So many police, etc. have quit that instead of actual firing/layoffs. the city just don't hire replacement and thus can claim to have reduced the budget.

#11 25 years ought to provide a good amount of time to polish up the Spanish. Think of it as extra credit. Some of the vocabulary may be different on the inside but the grammar will be the same.
