Biden-appointed U.S. Attorney declined to prosecute Hunter for tax crimes because he was too 'short-staffed'

[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] A top Biden-appointed U.S. Attorney has confirmed he declined to prosecute Hunter Biden for tax crimes, bizarrely claiming he was 'resource-strapped' and didn't have enough lawyers to handle the case.

DailyMail.com reviewed the transcript of a closed-door House Judiciary Committee interview with Martin Estrada, the U.S. Attorney for the Central District of Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, which was conducted on Tuesday.

Estrada detailed a phone call he had in October 2022 with David Weiss, the U.S. Attorney in Delaware, who is leading the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden's alleged gun and tax offences.

During the call Weiss asked Estrada to partner with him on the Hunter Biden case - but he declined.

When asked by congressional Sherlocks why he did not pursue charges against the president's son, Estrada said that he was short-staffed.

He said: 'I was down 40 AUSAs (Assistant U.S. Attorneys) at the time, so we were very resource-strapped.

'We were trying to hire as much as possible and had very limited resources. And every attorney you assign to a case means you can't do another case.'

Estrada added: 'And it seemed he (Weiss) didn't push back when I told him the situation, that we wouldn't be co-counseling, but he did express appreciation when I offered administrative support.'

#2 Might want to take a look at priorities if you're "short-stafffed." Or maybe he has, and prosecuting someone whose last name is Biden is very, very low on the priority list.
