Ukrainian forces have reached the outskirts of Zarichne.
[Twitter] We have almost reached the last chapter of the Battle of Lyman. Ukrainian forces took Kolodyazi and have reached the outskirts of Zarichne. The bottleneck for the Russians to escape is only 9km wide and shrinking fast.

According Pro-Russian Rybar the noose is even closed. There might be still some escape routes but all the heavy Russian gear in Lyman is basically lost for the Russians. The Russian battle group is around 3500 men strong.

#7 UKR forces are reported to have reached the O-0528 HWY south of Zarichne. This is the sole line of communication for RU forces at Lyman. The O-0528 is now under the observation of UKR UAVs, which will coordinate art'y strikes against retreating RU units.

#13 That footage of the platoon does look like a rout - couldn't tell if bodies going down were casualties or attempts to provide some covering fire. Also not sure on the troops in question. Quite likely this as organzed as they get?

Most likely. That is a flat road to Zarichne with no cover and in range to any Ukrainian artillery systems in their arsenal. With drones flying over, Ukraine has the opportunity to turn it into their own little highway of death if the Russians flee that way further.

#17 They should have pulled back out of there 3 days ago. I wonder how much equipment and supplies have been left behind. It was a big rail logistics point and C&C was there.
