Gantz: Israel has arrested or targeted over 1,000 terror operatives in recent months

[IsraelTimes] Defense Minister Benny Gantz says Israeli troops have arrested and shot more than 1,000 Paleostinians engaged in terror activity in recent months, as the military presses on with an operation in the West Bank following a series of attacks earlier this year.
"In the last few months we have arrested and hit more than a thousand terrorists," Gantz says after touring the military’s West Bank division base.
"We act decisively and in the right way against terror, to allow those who are not involved to have a life of economic and civil well-being," he says.
"The perpetrators of terror are the ones who harm the Paleostinian population, their livelihood, and the ability to advance their interests," Gantz adds.
