Local media reported that the commander of the so-called "Amaliqa Brigades" forces, Abu Zara’a al-Mahrami, instructed his button men to exercise restraint, following the bloody festivities.
Sources reported that an armed attack was carried out by members of al-Arish police, affiliated with the security belt of the Southern Transitional Council, towards a post, in which the recruits of the "First Amaliqa Brigade" are stationed in al-Arish neighborhood of Khormaksar district.
The sources explained that the attack resulted in the death of one of the Amaliqa recruits and the injury of 4 elements from al-Arish police.
